Blah- the forums mostly turn into fights......As a member for 2.5 years, I have noticed a shift in the forums. When I first started, the MFP forums were a lot more positive, less arguing, less trolling, and more of the health/fitness, nutrition, success stories, ect. Chit-chat section has taken over. I'm not saying its…

keurig coffee! Flavored types (green mountain coffee Island coconut is AMAZING) with sugar free french vanilla or hazelnut. I can't have too strong of coffee- upsets my stomach!

We did a cash bar only- we didn't want to go broke paying for an open bar. Our wedding was still amazing, everyone had fun, and if they wanted to drink they had the option....they just had to buy it themselves. :)

Honestly- if I have the calories...I would eat 800 calories worth of nachos and it would still be a good day. I don't judge others on what they eat....and it doesn't bother me if they choose to eat junk. I guess I have been here on my own journey with wonderful supporters all along. Nachos, food binges, cake, chips and…

I spend anywhere from 70-100 per week on groceries for my husband and myself. We still go out to dinner at least 2 times a week with friends and other random meals- working on cutting that back to save money. We probably spend at least 150 or more per week on food.

If I have to use either- I always pick the treadmill. When I run, I burn a lot more calories than when I use the elliptical. I find the elliptical to be boring and repetitive. I prefer running or walking outdoors, but will use the treadmill when I have to.

LOVE IT!!

Try something new- I am constantly changing up my activity to make exercise fun. Sometimes I take fitness classes, bike, jog, walk, and I have been heavy lifting since March. Change it up!

I comb it with a wide tooth comb wet, dry excess water, add a bit of gel, scrunch, add a bit of mousse, scrunch in, and spray with a bit of hairspray. It takes a lot for my hair to hold in high humidity!! Sometimes I use a difuser on low heat to get it dry if I need it!

I have some saggy skin- but it is SO worth losing the weight....don't let the fear of that stop you on your journey. Mine isn't as bad as I thought it would be, and there is amazing shapewear that I use when I want a flatter looking body. Best of luck on your journey! :flowerforyou:

We were dating for 2.5 years before getting engaged- we had a over a year engagement and we are getting married this Saturday!!! :)

Its also impossible to gain 2 lbs of muscle from 1 day of the 30DS....it would take a month or more, eating at almost maintenance, and heavy lifting. Muscle doesn't weight more than fat- it is more dense and takes up less space, and keep doing your thing because making healthy changes feels amazing! :)

water retention from starting a new exercise.

I always weigh lighter at the dr's office. Just go off of your own scale to track your progress. In all reality, our bodies are constantly within a weight range. That 2 lbs could be a cup of coffee and breakfast. Don't stress if their number is higher.
-
Yes, you MUST change up your workouts to get results. And hit the weights- heavy in my opinion. I am seeing some great definition and gaining strength! I love working out, but that doesn't mean each day its my favorite thing to do.....sometimes you just have to suck it up and make yourself go. :)

I agree with many of the above posters- try to limit portions to control calories. Most importantly, check the sodium. I would just drink a lot of extra water today and you will be just fine! Enjoy your party, don't stress too much over the food, and guzzle down some water! :)

Protein and healthy fats! Eat more of it! When I eat high protein meals with fat, I feel satisfied. I don't get hungry as quickly. I eat bacon and eggs instead of cereal- same calories for me (because I need like 3 servings of cereal to feel satisfied) and I stay full for hours.
-
Eating the healthier foods give me a lot more energy than when I eat junk! I agree with eating the things you like within moderation- this is how i have lost my weight. I haven't given up anything, just changed up how much and how often I eat the "bad" foods. :)
-
I do, everyday!!! I neeeeed it, lol- but in reality, I have always had it in the morning, before and during weight loss.
-
Depends- when the weather is great, I go 3x a week to lift and do cardio outdoors. When its winter, I go 5x a week!
-
also- as for stretch marks- they fade over time. I have them- lots of them, but the have faded. There isn't a way to get rid of them that I know. I still think that lifting has helped the general appearance of my body! :)
-
Heavy lifting has greatly improved the look of my cellulite. Squats, lunges with heavy weights will do wonders!!!
-
I drink calories because I want to!! :) I love having coffee with cream or creamer each day, enjoy milk, drink a G2 when lifting/working out some days, and even an occasional adult beverage. Its all about moderation!
-
Yes- because I want to lose fat, not muscle. Under eating will cause you to lose muscle. I don't always eat every single exercise cal, but I try to eat around 2200ish a day.
