I'm kind of obsessed with salads, I always make sure to have one in the fridge, whenever I need a quick meal. My favorites are Smoked Salmon, Avocado, Beets, Edamame, Goat Cheese, & Balsamic Vinegar (not Vinagrette) Pumpkin Seeds, Sweet Potato, Goat Cheese, Apples, Chicken, Dried Cranberries, Apple Cider Vinegar Broccoli,…

OP, I really do think you should see a doctor or a dietitian again. Not eating all day and getting nauseated at the thought of large amounts of food is not normal. I'm actually surprised you haven't suffered any severe healthy effects from being so underweight and malnourished for such a long period of time. For now I…

Just looking back at your diary, I noticed that all you ate yesterday were bacon, waffles, taquitos, ranch, chocolate, and soda. Might I suggest eating more nutritious and nutrient dense food. While you can still lose weight (as long as you're under your calories), this type of diet really isn't doing you any favors. While…

Weight loss myths are ridiculous. Sometimes people need to apply common sense. Like does your respiratory system stop working after 6pm? How about your circulatory system? So why is your digestive system any different...
-
It's very dependent on the person. If you tell us your height, current weight, level of activity (how long/ how often you work out), and how much weight you want to lose per week, we could probably give you a decent ballpark answer.
-
Meal timing is irrelevant, your metabolism doesn't just shut down after 6pm. You'll lose weight as long as you eat at a caloric deficit regardless of when you eat.

Cellucor Super HD is more of a fat burning thermo rather than a preworkout.
-
I think there are entries on here for things like drained black beans, so you can use those. As for the vegetables, it probably makes about a 10-20 calorie difference so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

There are some misconceptions on here that I'd really love to clear up I agree with an above poster that starvation mode is a real physiological response to a sustained, low calorie intake. The only problem is on mfp wayyy too many people believe they are entering 'starvation mode' by eating sub 1,200 calories. Most of…

For me, unless you're my doctor or my mother, don't comment on my weight, my body, or my eating habits. Hell, even my mother knows better.
-
Height? Weight? TDEE? Current deficit? Activity level?
-
Starvation mode is not a thing. Seriously there may be a ton of 'information' on it online, but it's really not a thing. Your body does not suddenly stop obeying the laws of thermodynamics, because of too little calories. Yes studies have shown your metabolism does slow down during a caloric deficit, but not to such a…

This thread actually makes me sad seeing how half the posts are saying things like "Bikini sizes are meant for one body type, which I do not have" or "I have loose skin and my fat hangs out" or "I will never be bikini body ready". Bikinis aren't exclusively meant for one body type, despite what Victoria Secret and Sports…

Thanks for the information, I hadn't even considered that. But from what I gathered, this macro plan is coming from a personal trainer rather than a doctor. This is exactly why I previously suggested getting nutritional information from her doctor rather than a personal trainer or us for that matter. Cancer and weightloss…
-
Do you understand your macros and why you have them set up as such? It seems like someone just gave you a couple of numbers and you just went with it. Right now you have 1,700 calories with a split of 15% carbs, 45% fat, 40% protein. Unless you have some sort of insulin resistance, there's really no need to actively avoid…
-
Instead of getting a meal plan from your personal trainer, why don't you talk with your actual doctor about your caloric goals and projected weight loss. Your case is highly individualized, so your doctor will probably know the best course of action. That being said I do agree with the other posters that given your…

Yeah at only 5 foot, you're burning nowhere near 2700 calories (you said you expect to lose 2 lbs per week). In fact you're probably not even burning 2200 calories (the number needed to lose 1 lb per week). I suggest you reevaluate your TDEE and adjust your macros from there.

April Fools?

I really think it depends on your goals and current progress. If you're extremely overweight and need to lose weight for medical reasons, then you probably shouldn't be implementing cheat days. Or if you're in contest prep, you might want to do refeed days, but definitely not cheat days. Honestly I don't believe in cheat…

Well that's one meal out of the entire day, she may be eating less for the entire day. For instance my previous roommate was super thin, actually underweight. I always saw her eating pizza, ice cream, cookies, and chocolate and never understood how she was that tiny. Then one day when we were both stuck at home studying, I…

You could probably deadlift in the squat rack, just remove the safety bars.
-
Most gyms allow you to deadlift, but some have designated areas. I know my gym doesn't like it when guys are pulling like over 400lbs without some sort of platform underneath. But that rule's more in place to preserve the floor lol.
-
To be honest since you're only lifting around 9-25 pounds while in a deficit you shouldn't expect to put on any muscle. You might see some strength gains and a bit more definition, but it'll be minimal at best. On the up side, since you're doing more reps with lighter weights, you'll be burning slightly more calories than…
-
It depends what you're defining as heavy lifting. I think a lot of people were assuming you were doing the traditional bench/squat/deadlift things one normally associates with strength training. What weight are you using?
-
OP what exactly does your program entail? I know you said Chalean Extreme Burn Phase, but from the looks of an example plan I found online it seems to be more of a cardio routine with strength training components. I think everyone on here is assuming you mean pure strength training, which will change the accuracy of their…

New York Slices are huge, from the few times I've actually weighted one they clock in anywhere from around 400-600 calories per slice. But to be honest, I normally just put in 400 calories and move on with my life. I rarely have pizza, and if I do it's normally with friends or a special occasion so I don't worry too much…

To lose 2 lbs on 1700 calories, you would have to be burning 2700 a day. Although I don't know your stats, that seems pretty high for the average woman.
-
It's only been 7 days, weight loss isn't linear. If you really have been accurately logging food and exercise, you'll eventually see that decrease in the scale. You should only start to worry if it's been a couple of weeks and no progress has been made.
-
Yep, it adds a ton of volume, and you know I'm all about volume eating lol.
