Did you start any new medication? B/c I get that gross metallic taste from one of my medications.

Looking at your discussion post past, you seem to be developing unhealthy unsustainable habits when it comes to weight loss. You're working out fasted despite getting chills and shaky after your workouts and you're using preworkouts and green tea fat burners. Honestly your body can only take so much, and it can only lose…

Honestly without knowing the exact portion or recipe, there's no way to tell. Even restaurant nutrition is a rough estimate at best. I say just say 300 calories per taco and call it a day.

@bbell1985 thanks babe. You should post an update on here too.

Update. So today he left the leg press completely loaded and someone asked him to rerack it. He said "alright", but didn't do it So later when I needed to use the leg press, I asked him to rerack it. Again he said "alright", but just sat there doing nothing. Then I told him I needed to use the equipment now, and that he…

Is your profile picture recent? It really doesn't look like you have 40 pounds to lose.

I've checked your food diary. Please eat more. Regardless of how sedentary you are, you should not be consistently eating under 1000 calories.

Haha I loved reading all the responses. I actually think it's the gym rats who are great about putting their weights back, it's the newbies/ casual lifters who don't. We suddenly had an influx of high schoolers who have absolutely no idea what they're doing. The worst of them is this kid. His form is absolute *kitten*. I…

That's 4.4 lbs. Which is a 15,400 deficit per week or 2,200 kcal deficit per day. There's no way (even with exercise) that you could safely create such a large caloric deficit in a week.

And she's gone. It's a shame, that people give up so easily.
-
It depends are you contagious? If so do everyone else a favor and stay away from the gym for a few days.
-
if it fits your macros. Basically you aim to hit a carb, fat, and protein goal rather than a strictly caloric one. i.e. you aim to hit 130c/130p/40f instead of 1400 calories.

Depends on your tolerance for caffeine. Start with the standard serving and see how it goes. For me the caffeine wasn't really an issue, it was more the beta alanine. I personally use alphamine because there's no beta-alanine and thermos make me feel warm and fuzzy. Most companies offer sample packets so I would just try…

As far as preworkouts go, c4 is pretty mild especially caffeine wise. Since I'm a smaller individual, I often took half of it as a preworkout and sipped on the other half as an intraworkout. You don't have to use a full dosage or anything at all.
-
I have. It's good, but not particularly special. I personally don't really like beta alanine, so I switched to Pescience alphamine/high volume.

Weight loss is rarely linear, especially when it comes to females. I can easily gain and lose five pounds within a week due to an annoying amount of external factors. What you want to look for is a general downward trend. I personally like to weigh every day, but average my weight for a week. Honestly if you're gaining…

Not in 10 days. It's probably just water retention, bloating, or increased food volume. 10 days is really not enough time to see any significant changes in measurements.
-
That's probably the beta-alanine in it.
-
Lol not at all worried. Funny enough, my increased heart rate actually added about 250 calories as 'exercise'. Go figure.
-
If eating back exercise calories puts you in a surplus than yes. It doesn't really matter if you're over maintenance every day, as long as your weekly net is a surplus. I personally just ate around maintenance for the week, but ate whatever I wanted on the weekend.

I addressed the underlying psychological issues. I recognized why I didn't feel the need to eat and why I felt sick whenever I did. I used to never finish meals because it made me sick. But it wasn't the food that made me sick, it was the guilt and anxiety that turned my stomach in knots. Psychologically I couldn't eat,…

I'm not assuming you have an ED, just sharing my experience having had one. When I was anorexic I always felt better without food. I felt better being hungry, in fact I thrived off that feeling. I used to get such mental clarity and energy from not eating for 24+ hours. I convinced myself that my extreme hunger was nausea,…

Have you considered going to the gym at a nonpeak time? I personally go to the gym right before it's about to close. Since my gym isn't a powerlifter heavy gym, I basically have the whole weight room floor to myself at 10pm.

A lot of these protein companies have various sponsored athletes that offer discount codes. Some examples are 15% off myprotein (LIPSETT15US) , 30% off pescience (Emily) , or 25% cellucor (ErikTheElectric).

As I'm sure you figured out, everyone maintains at a varying amount of calories. But for what it's worth I'm currently 5'4'' 120lbs. ~1600 sedentary, ~2000 on sedentary training days, ~2200 on active training days. When I was 5'4 110 lbs I maintained at under 1400... it sucked.

I don't really have anything to add that hasn't been said. But just know that I still think you're amazing (as with many of us on here). It's tough, I feel like I'm in the same boat. I too have gained like 15 pounds in the last year due to stress and major life changes... but that's how life goes. Life will sort itself…

"You're eating too little and your body has gone into starvation mode. You should up your calories to lose weight. Screw the laws of thermogenics, {insert 1950's study about how holocaust survivors entered starvation mode to prove point that adaptive thermogenesis is a real physiological phenomenon}."

The problem is I try to sleep whenever I can in order to mildly function during the day. I've tried 'resetting' my circadian rhythm, but my body is highly resilient. There's at least one day a week I'm up for 24 hours, I've even had instances where I've been awake for 30 straight hours. And yes I'm working with a doctor,…

I don't really spend the entire day and night trying to sleep. I'm actually quite busy of a person. I'm a graduate student in the field of mathematics, researcher, and a part time tutor. Most of the graduate and researcher work is independent study, although I have night time classes a couple of times a week. The tutoring…
