Lol.. the other day I got a tune up when I made a comment of "well it would be a shame for you to quit after doing so well".
Apparently that could be considered negative and uncomplementary.. LMAO3 -

What is a rascal rider? ...the others I think I can work out
Think Walmart folks on power chairs. At least that's my take on it.0 -

I can't reach my calorie goal!

I have pcos, hypothyroid, hashimotos, ibs, crohns, hypochondria, dandruff, and can't lose weight.
Putting autoimmune diseases in the same sentence as hypochondria and dandruff is ignorant and ridiculous. It's a lot more difficult to control your weight when you have medical problems. Malabsorption is a common problem, hormone levels are off, and if medications like steroids are involved, you gain a lot of water retention along with a whole lot of unpleasant side effects. Be kinder to those who have more problems then simple weight gain/loss issues.9 -
@Hamsibian Re-read the thread title. It's about what some people think are unpopular things to say. Too many people use medical conditions, real or conceived, as an apparent excuse for not losing weight. It sure seems that way when these type of threads appear, about every ten minutes.5

I eat what I want.1

I saw this new thing promoted by Dr. Oz/Mercola...3

You don't actually need a gazillion grams of protein just because you're working out a little and dieting...2

Just eat clean!4

Evidently the The 10 Day Master Peep Cleanse was unpopular with the mods. Sadness.9

That was going to be my next post...
"So how are you doing now?" on a post from 2010.2 -
I need a healthy diet with no vegetables because I hate all vegetables. Only responses from those who eat healthy without any vegetables, please. Oh, and nothing with sugar in it like fruit.5

The obligatory "I wash my food before I eat it" comments in clean eating threads. That's probably just unpopular with me and incredibly annoying :grumble:4

"You're eating too little and your body has gone into starvation mode. You should up your calories to lose weight. Screw the laws of thermogenics, {insert 1950's study about how holocaust survivors entered starvation mode to prove point that adaptive thermogenesis is a real physiological phenomenon}."0

Yes. Especially when people post "who's doing keto?" a hundred times a day.
Along with the obligatory daily (or more) "How often do you weigh?" thread.
Every time the "Anybody else doing keto???" thread pops up, I want to reply "Nope. You're the only one. Nobody else in the world has ever tried it."5 -

Yeah, I hardly ever click on those anymore.

AnvilHead, I was honestly wondering something . . . How often do you weigh?4 -

I,too, would be really interested in your response.0 -
I'd say the most unpopular thing to say would be "Its NOT cico."0

That's unpopular with me as well. I think a more useful response would be to ask the OP how they define clean eating. Snarking about washing food before eating it just shuts down discussion.1 -

Ya, it would be nice if new posters were directed towards the search feature before they were allowed to post and/or if duplicate threads occurring within the same days were shut down, with a note from the mods pointing users towards the search feature.
I'd rather have necro threads resurrected than all the "Any other vegans?" threads.*
*This is not bashing veganism. In fact, I am so supportive of veganism that I am often confused for one. I just wish people would use the search feature and contribute to existing threads.1
