Ok, I've got all of the ingredients, and I'll be making these today. I can't bring myself to use/buy vegan protein powder :confounded:  So I'll be using optimum nutrition casein that I have at home, I still can't figure why whey wouldn't work... unless OP is a staunch vegan, hence the recommendation?? I'll report…

One of the highlights of my day is filling out my food diary first thing every morning. I'm always thinking about my next meal, not particularly because of hunger but the thought of the forthcoming deliciousness...

I have never, ever lost on "Mfps schedule"

Lol yeah it is! I wonder if we consumed that much over every day if we would eventually drop the water, or would we be perpetually water logged and always weigh more than we really are??
-
Good point! Everyone is fine and dandy right this minute whatever they're chosen way of eating/lifestyle... Until one day they're not. I'm a firm believer in prevention is better than cure.

I rarely go over the 2300mg recommended here. I don't have blood pressure issues, but i do pack on water if go too far over. Yesterday i was at 3122mg (822 over), and this morning I'm nearly 4lbs up on the scale. I'd be a walking water balloon if i went thousands over. I rarely eat packaged foods, so it's easy to keep…

I would much prefer to see cats/dogs on a B.A.R.F diet (bones and raw food) than be fed a predominantly grain based sub par kibble diet. I feed my dog and cat a mostly fresh meat and bones based diet, supplemented with a grain free dry food. As has been mentioned, cats are obligate carnivores, dogs can unfortunately…

How confusing... So these educators are completely bull headed and refuse to stray off course, or they go the complete other direction. I think each individual should experiment and do what works for them, rather than follow a cookie cutter regimen. A glucose monitor would be very enlightening to see if they were on the…

I don't know the ins and outs as I am not a diabetic, but i have heard many diabetics say they are mind boggled by some of the ADA's recommendations... I assume they are similar to dietitians in that they cant stray away from what they were taught in school, nor are they permitted to think outside of the box??

$10 a tub here in Australia. $7 is the on sale price.
-
I take mine out 15-20 minutes before i plan to eat it. The consistency is better and you don't snap the spoon trying to scoop it out lol
-
Lol you're not quite over the hill yet  I was skinny as a rail in my 20's and 30's. I started gaining weight when i hit my 40's.
-
@Lesscookies what did you think of the pancake waffle flavour? We don't have that one in Australia yet, but i am keen to try it when it does get here.
-
My favourites are, in order of preference: Candy Bar Peanut butter Sea Salt caramel Smores Chocolate I wish it wasnt so expensive, I get 2 bowls from 1 tub. That's $5 a bowl/130g.

I'm assuming the x 12 calculation is at sedentary level, not including exercise? If so, the number is pretty spot on for me.

The only time i take my fitbit off is when i have shower. I wear it on my non dominant hand, but have it set to dominant hand in my settings.

Does anyone think the burgers are a lot smaller at Burger King than they were years ago. Maybe it was because i was young, but Whoppers used to be huge! They seem to have shrunk in size over the years...
-
Candy Bar is my new favourite flavour, it's snickers like.
-
lol I just don't bother.

We didn't even have Mcdonalds here (Australia) when i was growing up in the 70's. We had Hungry jacks (Burger King) which was a 30 minute drive away. Take away was a once a month treat, as were school bought lunches. I brought a homemade lunch to school everyday. Dinner was cooked from scratch every night, and I don't…

I have days here and there where i eat well below my calorie level... BUT the next day i am overly hungry and struggle to stay at my recommended calorie level. So, not eating enough inevitably backfires on me.

I quit sugar by slowly tapering down. I was adding 3tsp of sugar to each cup of tea, times that by 7-8 cups a day and it was a ridiculous amount! I never, ever thought i could drink tea or coffee without sweetener, but i got there in the end reducing by 1/2 tsp at a time, then 1/4 at the end until i was down to none. Now…

@Rx_Keto what is ghost stool? I googled it and got images for kitchen chairs/stools lol OP Wellbutrin is called Zyban here in Australia, it is used as a quit smoking aid, but sounds like it has many other benefits tied to moods.

@nutmegoreo just doesn't roll off the tongue, and is hard for me to pronounce for some reason  Nutmegro just flows. You shall be named Nutty from now on  xx
-
These are my favourites, and so easy to make. http://screwedonstraight.net/keto-diet-peanut-butter-cup-fat-bombs/

You're not alone @pinuplove lol Nutmegro is how I've always said it too :open_mouth:

I make a smoothie for lunch everyday with protein powder, and make desserts most nights which also include it. Have been doing this for years.
-
I started with the zip, then the Alta (non hr), and now i have the charge 2 which I'm sticking with. The ionic and blaze have too many bells and whistles that I'd never use. The charge 2 is great and does everything i need.

I have dessert 7 nights a week. I'm not sure that it helps me eat less on weekends though.... I rotate through a few different ones. Chia pudding topped with yogurt or cottage cheese. Halo top ice cream. The candy bar flavour tastes like a snickers bar. Protein cheesecake. protein chocolate pudding. Cottage cheese mixed…

Jeebers, 40kgs?? Increase your calories now, and keep them there..
