Ditto here.

Data from Oct 6-8 has now synced. Not Oct 9 (yesterday) or so far today.

It's all guesswork anyway, since we all burn calories at different rates and assessing the level of an activity is purely subjective. If you can get an idea of how many calories your routine burns from another source, just log it in such a way that it inputs that number. If it helps, my Fitstar routines, which sync to UP,…

Like you, and most people, I mainly exercise in the morning. This is where I think the app throws things out. If you have burned say 500 calories in your workout, it thinks you will be burning at a similar rate for the rest of the day and adjusts accordingly. So as the day wears on, your calorie allowance will keep…

I have MMF synced to UP but not to MFP. But I don't use the former enough to know how well they integrate and usually erase the data that MMF sends to UP. Yesterday, I checked the syncing and, after a walk lasting an hour, MMF added about 23cals to my UP total. Try uncoupling them to see what happens.

I tried Runkeeper for a while, just to see how it was, but it's not really suitable for my iPad 2, which doesn't have 'proper' GPS. I do use MapMyFitness from time to time, although I am not sure how accurate it is, since it presumably judges distance by the triangulations it can obtain (not much use when out in the…

That is likely to be the case. It certainly is when I use my exercise bike, so I put the Jawbone in my pocket. You could try that. Also, if you think the effort is greater than just walking, set the timer while you are mowing and then edit the activity accordingly on the UP app. Or log it with MFP, if there is an option…

You set both apps to sync, and then they do, both ways hopefully. I continue to log food on MFP, since I have been using for a while, and exercise on the UP. I also link the Fitstar and Six Pack apps, although the latter syncs to MFP but not to UP. Outside that, I set the timer on the bracelet when I am doing any…

I put mine in my pocket when using my exercise bike and it logs more steps than when I wear it on my wrist, so yes I think it's OK. I haven't checked how accurate it is, though, although that would be easy enough to do. (Set the timer, count 100 steps say, stop the timer and see how many steps your Jawbone has logged when…

UP was syncing to MFP but not vice versa. I disabled the connection between the apps and then reconnected them. Now it syncs both ways.

It is a bit confusing to begin with. Also it seems to estimate the number of calories you will have burned by the end of the day, based on how many you have burned the last time you synced. This throws things off in my case, since I tend to do all my heavy exercise in the morning rather than late at night! I use MFP for…

It is not that accurate, since all it can do is monitor wrist movements (There is a big discussion of this issue elsewhere, either here or on the Jawbone forums, can't remember which). For example, I left mine in sleep mode by mistake the other day and it had been in both light and deep sleep on and off all day, presumably…
