  • Hi Sean! You're the first person I've run into from Kansas... well at least since I moved here :) Great job starting this journey! I've got a ton to lose myself. Good luck and great job starting it!
  • I think that's just about everything I wish I could say but can't find the words to. I'm glad you're here! MFP will be a priceless tool to help keep you motivated and encouraged, too! If you'd like another friend feel free to add me :) I've got a ton to lose, I try to log and comment daily. However, I do actually live life…
  • I LOVE my BodyMedia band! :) Its a huge help and encouragement to me and helps me know I'm on the right track... There are days I don't wear it when I just get tired of having it on or I forget it as I'm running out the door, but generally I wear it every day and it doesn't bother me at all.
  • LOL. This is me... And sadly its the "slow clap" but oh well! I'll take it ;)
  • Hi! I always welcome new friends so feel fee to add me if you like! I do my best to log every day and comment too, but now and then I nuts a day. I also have a ton if weight to lose and I'm learning to be healthy....and I have bad days sometimes...
  • Hey there! Welcome to MFP! I have a ton of weight to lose myself and will probably be here for a long time... Joined quite a while ago, but recently recommitted to this. I've tried a few different things, but I"m at that point where learning to eat healthy and getting out an dmoving is just so much more important to me.…
  • I LOVE my BodyMedia! Even more now that MFP links to it, too. It helps that I'm an Accountant so I was born to watch numbers, but the graphs and everything it tracks really helps encourage me to keep moving. I usually download it twice a day and that helps keep me in line and gives me goals from day to day. Also, I'm a…
  • Oatmeal... and M&M's... Yeah, I know...
  • I wog (walk/jog) in the mornings, but in addition at home I like to do Physique 57 DVDs. They are VERY low impact and I feel the burn. Sometimes I have to talk myself through them, but I feel amazing at the end. Google 'em! :) Or message me and I'll tell you what I know.
  • Hey there! And welcome to MFP! I've been on here for a while, but haven't been serious except for the last couple months. And I have LOT to learn about nutrition, though I"ve been trying lately. I also do try to log in every day {and since the move has calmed down I should be able to track better}. Feel free to add if…
  • You can add me, too! I also enjoy seeing the posts in my feed :) I've got a ton to lose so I'll be here for a while... Have a great day!
  • THANK YOU! I needed this reminder today!
  • I've been here for quite a while, but restarting (ugh!). I'm on a lot and a soon to be more, add me if you'd like another friend! Also, I have a ton to lose. Some of the things I enjoy: crafting, learning to run, reading, learning to cook/can healthy things :) Welcome to the crew, everyone!
  • Hey there! Way to take the step to restart! I am too! I've lost a bunch, gained back, lost a little, gained it back, etc. If you need another friend for a smile or a little encouragement ~ add me! Have a great day!
  • I'm restarting again, too! If you need another friend, add me! I'm on quite a bit and have a TON to lose (100?) Glad you're starting again :)
  • I was having that issue when I started running and really worried it was my weight and that I wasn't going to be able to continue until I lost more... A friend suggested I tie my shoes just a little looser and that seemed to do the trick! :)
  • I have a few dvds that I LOVE. The Physique 57 workouts (at home) kill me.. and I love how I can feel I'm building muscle from them, too! Plus, they are all low impact if you need that sort of thing, but challenging regardless.
  • I've recently started to work on being low-er carb ~50g per day. With this I haven't been getting even close to my calorie limit/goal for the day (1600). On an average day I'm eating about 1000 calories without including exercise calories. So while I pay attention to the calories I know I'm eating so low that I don't…
  • Welcome to MFP! I've been a member for quite some time, but serious for much less of that. I'm dedicated to logging and working on my health ... especially for the family to come! Just stick with it - keep logging, move a little more, and those prayers don't hurt any either :) You got this! If you'd like a friend, feel…
  • Me too!
  • Physique 57 has a line of dvd work outs that are all low-impact. My Sister-In-Law finally talked me into trying them out since I'm giving up my gym membership soon and want something that will still kick my butt in my living room.
  • SMSS Sweet, merry, sincere, supportive
  • I'm currently 318... and I run almost every day! Now, I am slow so I use the term "running" loosely. You can do it! I started because I've always hated running and never could do it. So I'm proving to myself an dall those around me that I can! Its fun :)
  • Welcome back! Out sounds like you have a good pam for these baby steps! I've had a restart...our two...of my own! If you fancy another friends, feel free to add me (that goes for anyone!) You got this!
  • I am not new, but I've recently renewed my sense to get this done... I have over 100 lbs to lose as well and am on this website every day - some days more active than others. Anyone feel free to add me if you'd like another friend to add some encouragement or whatnot :) Glad you're here!
  • Ooooh Yeah! I never used to think this way until I moved to Wyoming.... :)
  • ^^ This :)
