I'd say you need to get up and get going cuz! Probably, the more you sleep in, the less calories you burn.

I have found that the treadmill really isn't accurate unless it knows your heart rate. I will run for 3 miles and the treadmill says something totally different than MFP says it should be. My vote is the HRM.

Protein should be consumed after anabolic (strength/weight) training only. Stick with sugary drinks after a cardio workout like Gatorade or something.

wow! 6 miles? I only run three miles a day but when I do I run it pretty hard. Also, I just started doing this like two weeks ago. give me a break I am a married man now. That automatically gives me a reason to be out of shape.

True to that Jan. Good job for running like that. Shoot, I won't be able to run like that when I'm 35. Bad knees run in the fam.

Outside running may burn more calories and use more muscle, but what I find is that running on a treadmill keeps me motivated by letting me know how far I've gone, how many calories I've burned, and how long I've been running. It does feel good to sweat outside though!
