protein is the best. Any kind. You should eat protein at least an hour post workout to feed your muscles.

If you want something bad enough, you make it work. I have a full time job, am a full time grad student, a single mother of a 2 year old boy and I work out minimum of an hour a day. Without my gym time I would be STRESSED!! It helps keep me focused and driven.

50/30/20 here and I'm hitting around 130-150 a day. Lifting days I try to get the higher end of that. I'm eating constantly though... It was hard at first, but I'm used to the chicken, tuna, eggs, shakes... ALL THE TIME..

BOTH! vary it! barbell will seem easier and dumbbell will also work core because you have to focus on holding the weights steady. I agree, no smith machine. I like the EAS chocolate ones and I don't even blend them. I have the shaker cup from GNC that has the mixer ball in it. Fill with water, scoop the protein, close lid, shake, drink. YUM!

I'd like to be told what to eat. It's just easier for my. But I'm not going to listen to just anyone. I eat what my trainer tell me each week and she explains why. So I would have to say... choice 3) both 1&2

Yes, it matters. When you are eating healthier foods, you can eat more of them and have more energy which then will burn more!
