I was just recently diagnosed with WG myself so I completely understand. I started my first round of steroids this past week and have been avoiding carbs to not gain weight. Any recommendations? I'm so glad just as yourself for modern medicine. Please feel free to add me! Best wishes!

HAHAHAHAHAH this cracks me up!!!! but only because i am EXACTLY the same way! it helps me to pre-log, makes me stay on track and agreed on "dull and boring never hurt either" If you don't eat other foods.... you don't really crave them!

Cut 20% from your TDEE.... not 20% of the total. so essentially you will be eating 80%

Agreed completely! I would prefer to be outside, however if it is late in the evening (dark) or early in the morning and no one is out, the area I have to go run is a little sketchy, so in those times I use the "dreadmill" Any effort is better than no effort, even if they are holding on, at least they are off the couch.

I do partake in the diet tonic! unfortunately tonic does have sugar in it.... I have recently done Perrier and vodka with a lime. Not too bad if you ask me!

I usually stick to Vodka and Tonic with a squeeze of lime. Probably not as sweet tasting as some of the flavored vodkas, but I am not into really fruity drinks. As long as you don't over indulge, enjoy!

I am easily tempted with drinks for some reason, so I make sure that the ONLY form of liquid I have in my house/fridge is water in my Brita pitcher. OMG agreed! I used to eat 2 pieces of the individually wrapped Dove Dark Chocolate out of the freezer for my "sweet treat" at night. I got a little carried away doing it every night, but it never hurt my weight loss and is better than a cookie or ice cream! =P

This is a year's time. Some of the weight loss was before I started MyFitnessPal, but I feel as though this program has really helped me achieve further goals! weighed myself this AM and am sitting at 168lbs!
