I had a beautiful black cat named Toby! But like all the other men in my life, he just left one day without saying goodbye or an explanation why. Stupid cat probably got eaten by an alligator.

My current boyfriend kissed me ALOT on our first date & I'm soooooo happy he did!! Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow...

35 with my first daughter 38 with my 2nd daughter. As she said, I too was having fun in my 20s & am totally glad I waited!! I would have missed out on lots of travelling and adventures!

Add distance and speed will naturally come to the shorter distances. I've been doing this at the advice of my runner boyfriend and it works!!! Maybe you can also add interval training to your weekly routine too! Good luck! I'm shooting for similar goals this year! :-)

I hate it when my mind can't clear out and I just keep thinking about all the crap I need to do when I'm done working out!

Endomondo rocks! AND it is FREEE!

I alternate my running and biking. I do between 10-18 miles and try to keep my pace up around 14-15 mph. Its so fun too! Oh and I use the ENDOMONDO app on my phone (which has GPS) to track my rides(and runs) and gives you an accurate breakdown of your pace!

No More Trouble Zones is great! Banish Fat Boost Metabolism is also great! One of my faves is "Shred it With Weights" gotta get some kettlebells, but its a great workout for your but/hamstrings!

I'm 5' 4" with medium build, but I have muscle. I'm currently 147 wearing size 4. Stil have a spare tire so I'm going to try and get down to 130-135. I've been 122 with out muscle/working out and was sick all the time!!! I'd rather eat more, workout and weigh more. It's not all about what the scale says----it's about how…

LOL! I did the whole "under the radar" thing for the same reason. It was friggin' awesome to go to my niece's wedding on the west coast being 70+ pounds thinner and blowing peoples minds! Closer to home, I almost kept to myself, avoiding others who might notice. Weird I know---but now I flaunt it! LOL!

Don't get frustrated! 20 pounds lost is amazing! You need to take your measurements monthly! It's a terrific motivator for when the scale isn't cooperating and you've been working your butt off! I use these measurements: neck, chest, waist, hips (at biggest point), left and right thigh, left and right arm. You will be…

I agree. Don't diet to lose quickly, eat better for life to be healthier for life!

Hey, Been there and done that MANY times! Its nice to catch up with people on line, but when you don't feel good about yourself it's hard to be face-to-face with people that were used to seeing a smaller you. I get it and you have nothing to feel badly about. Just make a committment to see him in the future (set a date) so…

First time I just did the Shred alone. Now that I have to work harder to burn as many calories, I need to run and/or bike in addition to the Shred. (One I do pre-work, one post-work) Good luck!

Hey Stephen! Welcome and good luck! My advice is to be sure and log each day even if you had bad choices! (Gotta stay accountable and keeps you aware). Don't compete with anyone but yourself! Find YOUR exercise of choice and stick with it! (Not everyone needs or can do p90x!) Personally I started with DVDs, added in runnig…

I started C25k when I was over 200. Now I am 147 and just came back from my 6 mile run. I never would have made it to this point with out C25k. Very useful tool. Now that I am beyond that and working towards my first half-marathon, I use another free app called ENDOMONDO. It uses GPS to track my workouts (running and…

I run, bike and use circuit training dvds with handweights and kettlebells. Borrow some from the public library until you find what you like. Don't run out and spend a ton on P90x or Insanity until you know that you will like it. My boyfriend converted his garage and started with boxing only (speed bag, heavy bag) and has…

Log it as run time and walk time until you actually are running all the way.

I just got the evil FB command to download it. No freaking way! I hate IM! Very intrusive! I don't want my old bf from 1984 shooting me an IM--YUCK! Texting by phone is only for my inner circle--people I really want to talk to!

Hey you're doing great as well!!!!

I'm 46 & I did 30 days straight last July. No other exercise, just The Shred. I lost 14.5 pounds and 8.75 inches. I'm currently also doing the Jillian Michaels library in rotation for my morning workout before work and then run and or bike after work for extra cardio. The lighter you get the harder you gotta work to burn…

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate your support and kind words!

Ran 6.5 miles (no stopping or walking) in 67 minutes. Longest distance I've run since 1998!

C'mon now you can do it! You might not be as inshape as the ladies in the video, but you can still progress at your own rate. You will be surprised at what you can do if you challenge yourself! I started at 200 with this one. I'd consider that obese!

YES! Kicks up metabolism and is awfully nice to see a nice firm muscle when you do lose the fat above it. Trust me I've been there...

I think it's just a timing issue. Sounds like you have a deep connection through your friendship, which in time will move into something more now that he knows you are interested. Be patient, but not a doormat! Good luck.
