Try subsituting Splenda for regular sugar. They have a sugar/splenda mix for baking so that may help with sugar content. If a recipe calls for oil subsitute plain applesause instead. Dont have many recipes not much of a cook but just things i remember from WW days.

as long as your showing results do what you feel you need to do for you and your body. I do the same as alexnadra_anne if not i will keep going for cheat day to days. I do have a couple high calorie days a week to through my metabolism off and it works for me.

i would go with your scale and add it the first week most ppls lose water weight. Its all a starting point we wont hold it against you if you put in the wrong starting weight. lol

I don't know tai food but see if the restaurant has a website that has the nutritional information and you can plan ahead by picking what you want to eat and calculating the calories into your diary then go exercise your butt off to have the extra calories available for the food you have decided to eat. YOU may add me. Try and do exercises using a chair to lean on if its only one knee that is killing you. if its both try and do weight lifting in a sturdy chair to help build muscle.
