Lifting weights fast :P I recommend uphill walking on treadmill, and dedicate 1 or 2 days to 40 minutes plus of this alongside lifting.

Spinning will help, but since you have around three months before you go away, i would up the intensity in strength training, that way, you will gain a more toned look, which will always look pleasing to the eye in a bathing suit :D

Bio-oil helps to fade; i found this out due to weight lifting providing me with markings around my inner arms, and after three to four months of continuous use of Bio-oil it helped to fade.
