The only thing to keep in mind with eating food from a fast food place (any food place, really) is that the calories may not be exact. So what the menu has listed could be up to 20% off, so you could be getting a lot more calories than you realize. I am not saying that you should never eat them again, but if you aren't…

The people that respond on this website tend to know what they are talking about. They have seen a dozen posts with people wondering why they aren't losing, and it's usually issues with how they are measuring their food and the numbers they are getting. There was no ill will in their suggestion, but simply the logical one.…

I wasn't assessing your parenting skills. I apologize that it came across that way. Parents who eat processed foods tend to feed them to their families, so I made that leap. In your case, I was wrong. Once again, I apologize.

I am not a medical or weightloss professional, so I can't tell you why you are losing weight so fast. Maybe you just made a lot of changes at once. If this continues, I would see the doctor. Losing weight quickly could be connected to any number of medical conditions. Please know what I am about to suggest is not from a…

Also, since you are PCOS, knock back those carbs! Not more than 150 is wise. (Keep them whole grain!)

Another reason, other than the more obvious ones, to have sex with your husband, is the calorie burn.

I think you are worried about something more than calories. Maybe, if you stop eating together, you'll stop doing things together? Your relationship is made up of more than food and treats. Talk to him about your concerns, explain to him that you need his support. You won't make him change, but he has to respect your…

Always being "big", "fat", "husky", and simply overweight, I have a ton. I was mocked in elementary school, and someone started a rumor that I was pregnant. I was 11 at the time. My coach yelling, "Get down the court, fat a**," loud enough for everyone to hear. Lastly, I was walking on campus to an exam, and tripped and…

I don't know how long you have been at it, but is it also possible that some of it is from muscle gain? That you are losing fat, but gaining muscle.

If it's good Mexican food, something is fried.

Thanks! :)

They (he or she) are very proud of their butt!

25 here, too! Trying to lose 120, can I add you?

I am working on remaking my favorite foods so I can have them more regularly. This next two months, I am cutting out white bread, white sugar, more processed foods, etc, to break the addiction. After that, I plan to, SLOWLY and CAREFULLY, let some back into my diet as a treat here and there. That being said, the one thing…

Try some high calorie/protein dense shakes. They won't fill you like food will, but will give you more of the fuel you need for your body.

Thanks for the info! (I am snarky, so I tend to read things in a snarky tone.)

800-900 calories a day is bad, if that's your normal/average intake. From your picture, you seem to be at/near a healthy weight, and nothing that drastic has to be necessary. If your goal is to gain muscle/tone up, you need calories to do that. I am learning to view food as a fuel, so I don't let it control me. Perhaps,…

Not judging, just curious. I was told by my doctor that eating 5/6 small meals (or three small meals, and two to three healthy snacks) is better than eating everything in big meals. (Keeps sugar levels normal, and metabolism going.) Your weight loss is amazing, so I am just curious about your philosophy. Feel free to…

Let me verify: I need to net 1200, after exercise. Also, no need to be snarky. I am new here, and I am learning. :)
-
So, if I have a net of 60, that is bad?

I am in Lower Alabama. (Florida, 10 minute drive to the state line. I also like to call it God's Country.)

You can lose weight if you only get a few calories a day, but that has a negative affect on your muscles. I want to tone/build muscle as I lose weight, so that I naturally burn more calories.

We all come in different food issues. I know some people gain weight due to medical, but most of us gained due to what we ate. I think I am SO scared of overindulging, that it has helped cause me to taking in that few calories. That isn't healthy either.

Crunches, bridges (great for your butt and thighs too!), reverse crunches.... There are a ton of exercises. Do them enough so that you get the "burn", and do them slowly. (Ahhh, I miss my athletic days!)

You have reasonable, helpful advice, may I add you?

I saw this board, and it called to me. 263, with a weight loss goal of 120.
