You may want to measure yourself as well since you are exercising. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you are losing at a slower rate, you may be gaining muscle so the scale numbers go down slower.

You can usually find the liquid Stevia in the health food store. It works great and has no more if any aftertaste than any other sweetener.

I remember this diet from the 70's, but my mom called it "Peel a Pound Soup". We tried it a different times but it never worked for very long. I remember I kind of liked the soup...kind of. :ohwell:

I've always heard that you gain from the bottom up and lose from the top down which is totally unfair! I have found this to be true unfortunately. :sad:

MFP has a recipe feature where you enter all the ingredients and the number of servings and it will calculate the nutritional facts for you. Go to Food and then to recipes and add your recipes there. Good luck!

I just started Zumba Fitness for the Wii and I really like it so far. Too soon to tell about losing with it or not, but it's fun.

I have noticed this as well. When I eat in the morning, I get hungrier during the day. When I don't eat in the morning I have less desire to eat. It's like a switch gets turned on. I think if you are waiting a couple hours, that's not a problem since you are eating in the morning. At the end of the day, you have to listen…

My mom always uses some kind of cereal like Rice Chex or Rice Crispies ground up in the food processor. Of course she adds parmesian cheese as well which can be omitted. She dips them in buttermilk before the cereal but low fat milk would work as well. The rice chex are particularly crispy I've found. Yum!

I have the same problem or concern. But i keep trying to tell myself that the health benefits far outweigh any aesthetic concerns for the moment. I guess I'm trying to say that I feel like I will cross that bridge when I finally get to it.

You could also try Barilla Plus. It's a bit more expensive but it has whole grains and more protein and tastes just like regular pasta.

I find that Doctors can be discouraging without even realizing it. What does he want you to do exactly. If losing weight is one of your goals, then you are doing it!! Hang in there and try and forget about the unthoughtful things people can say, even the ones who are supposed to be smart.
