Have to maintain...scary...not ready!

I've changed my status to maintenance mode for the near future. I have to go in next Friday to have a tumor removed from my thigh. That will take several weeks to heal due to the size. Then I have to go back to the Dr. in July for a biopsy...they seem to think my uterus is in a pre-cancer stage. So, I may be getting a hysterectomy later this fall. So rather than try to stress about not being able to lose more weight when I can't work out as much or in a routine, I'm going to concentrate on getting my body healthy and then I'll try to lose this last 38 pounds. I'll still be on posting my food and what exercise I can get in.
Keep me in your thoughts and prayers that during this time I can maintain the weight loss I've made so far.

Sending prayers your way. Whether we have hit our goals or not I think the idea of maintainence is just downright SCARY! When you are "dieting" you are so focused but when you start to think a little hear and a little there, the fear that old habits will rear their ugly heads is scary!
Maybe you could create a ticker for healthy food days. Set a goal of simply eating healthy and tick off each day that you do.
