Hello. I'm 54 in Chicago Northwestern suburbs. I've had a busy summer with too much pizza and margaritas. I'm trying to get back on track with healthy eating, exercise, and lose the 7 pounds I gained. I'm committing to tracking everyday and need accountability buddies.

How close are you to your goal? If you only have a few pounds to lose it may be more difficult. Hang in there and don't be discouraged.

I've had my fitbit flex a week. I do a one hour body pump class which is mostly strength training. Does my tracker track those calories, or do I manually put it in? I don't want to double dip.

This is my second week doing the mfp app. I really think it is something I can live with. I've done so many diets in the past, but they just aren't real life. I haven't counted calories long enough to contribute to this conversation, but I certainly hope it works!

I just discovered mfp and I love it, but I need more friends! I want to lose 10 pounds, but I always have to pay attention to food and exercise to maintain a healthy weight. I have found it gets harder with age. Please add me!
