They should if you buy them refrigerated at the store. But not all eggs come from a store refrigerator.

That sounds delicious!

I agree with the above. It can make it easier to stick to your diet for some people but it does not guarantee you'll lose weight. My husband has only eaten one meal in the evening for decades and he's been overweight all of that time. I don't start eating until late afternoon for weight control and because I rarely get…

Yes, shell and all. Ours often freeze in the coop this time of year unless we get a broody hen.

Breakfast: big mug of tea Lunch: scrambled eggs with spinach and salsa Dinner: edamame, pan seared scallops, roasted cabbage and carrots, white wine Dessert: no bake cookie and red wine

I think steps are great for improving (or maintaining through the cold muddy winter months) hiking, especially if you hike steep hills. I gave away my treadmill and bought a cheap step (like used for step aerobics) and use that for cardio when it's too muddy to hike. It keeps my lungs and legs in good hiking shape. I…

Moderation.

We've actually had that conversation. His opposition to it was putting up another building. He's very weird about natural landscape and taking down trees (we have 100+ acres and only 5-6 are cleared) and I am already planning on adding a greenhouse. He suggested we could clean out one of the outbuildings for it. We settled…

Oops, me too! At least you mentioned omelets. ;)

I'm skeptical that anyone that didn't understand wording like "The science is still early but ", "Dr. Bufalino suspects it might be", "It’s also possible that ", "There is no direct cause and effect.", or "One explanation would be" would suddenly be enlightened by that. But perhaps they would.

How do you feel about tomato sauce or juice? No seeds and more concentrated nutrients.
-
I would agree with that. I just don't see it in this article. Even the headline doesn't suggest it's proven fact. When writing an article about interesting but preliminary research what else could be done to make the masses understand that it is interesting but preliminary?
-
If they are store bought it's unlikely to make much difference.
-
Good article. If you do get unwashed eggs be sure to wash them in warm water. As someone mentioned above the shells are porous and cold water can cause them to constrict and pull bacteria from the outside of the shell in.

We keep ours on the counter but there is nothing wrong with putting them in the fridge, or freezer if you find a good deal and want to stock up. This time of year a lot of our eggs are frozen before we gather them.

Fiber, protein. In that order.

Venison Philly cheese steak pizza, beer, crudite. It will be my only meal of the day but I may still be over my maintenance calories. Oh well, I have all week to work that out.

Meatballs. Whatever you do with it to mix with pasta but mixed with vegetables instead. I had a lot more suggestions until I read 'veer away from carbs'.

Breakfast: big mug of tea Lunch: Leftover Fiber gourmet spaghetti, roasted tomato sauce with spinach and crumbled tofu Dinner: Turkey, spinach, onion, cheese sourdough panini with raw and pickled vegetables.

That must be a 'delicate'. Put it in a pillow case before washing.

It's just one statistic. You can put as much worth into as you wish.
-
Obviously. But do some people do it 'naturally' (as in without tools or much thought) while others do not?

Your beef seems to be a lot of your own interpretation along with thinking it not a comprehensive analysis of the study. I'd agree with the last, but since they linked the study anyone that wanted to see it can. The rest seems to be you projecting (purposely ignores, don't mention .... which I think, mention's stress ... I…

I'd just go with a low fat baked good.

Honestly, I don't understand why you got upset. That was not my intention. I was simply pointing out that for us it would mean a complete change of lifestyle for one of us to want to spend the kind of time it would take to go to the gym and that I think of either of us would be resistant to the idea. We've spent almost all…

Was that directed at me? If so I think you misunderstood my posts. I was not suggesting anything that should warrant such a response. I presumed only that you did not have a farm, which if incorrect or I unintentionally insulted you in some way I apologize.
-
I agree with all that. People are so different from one another.
-
I am. Our situations are different. We both have full time jobs and a farm to care for. The nearest gym is about a 40 min drive. So joining a gym would mean a complete change of lifestyle. I think either of us would resist that change. It would also take a pretty big change in mindset for either of us which would also be…

I'm referring only to the link in the OP as that's the only blog I've read. What in that article isn't true or is misleading?
