Any time I bring up trying to eat better and then go try to enjoy some dessert in moderation, or some freaking potatoes or something that wasn't a salad I would immediately get "what ever happened to your diet?" or "are you sure you should be eating that"? Honestly, I take offense to anyone asking me if I've lost weight. I know my number keeps rising and I KNOW my clothes are fitting differently. 5'3" here and 210+ (exiled my scale awhile ago). My goal is 140 because my weight sits better on the Tally's and I'm definitely a Shorty.
