  • Hi! I am new too! I am not too sure about specific calorie burn strength training but I know that planks, push ups and sit ups are each, both good strength builder exercises for the core muscles -and can be modified depending on your body's mobility. I did a bunch of strength training and also noticed that I got no credit…
  • I discovered such comfort in Stash Licorice Spice Tea combined with a Red Rose Tea in a pot. Add a splash of milk for extra yummy! The Red Rose adds a nice strength to the sweetness, and licorice flavor of the Stash Licorice Spice tea.
  • Ha! It only took a moderately delayed amount of time to get this forum point! Yes Indeed! Always make friends with the guy that bring the watermelon. Ha!
  • My people gather often enough that I just attend the event and chaulk it up to good times. On the weekends I switch my fast times to allow my to have breaky with my family. I haven't done either since starting MFP so this weekend, we'll see what it all adds up to. The thought worries me to actually know how many calories…
  • Feel good, and don't get too discouraged. I honestly had the same problem until I found this site and meticulously kept an eye on calories. I actually gained weight for a few weeks trying to just keep an eye on what I ate. I needed to look right at it with both eyes.
  • I agree with this and admit to being guilty of this as well. At the same time, it might be good to make an appearance say your salutations and then just find yourself something else to do. Although weren't you getting bored of your prepared meal? Could this be the meal? and just move everything over one day?
  • Hey,I started at 225 and stick to 1500. I just started trying to lose weight a few weeks ago so maybe not quite a success story yet, I think you are too low on your calories. Did MFP recommend a number for you to stick to? I manage cravings by drinking little pots of green tea, lots of water and coffee with just 2% milk in…
  • Added you and a few others too!
  • Just an innocent, "eat you heart out" with a hint of, "you never could have had me!", and a side of, "taste of your own medicine."
  • Good Luck! Hope this helps! Donuts are made out of processed white flours that turn straight into sugar in the body, on top of that they are full of sugar too! Double jeopardy of sugar, just empty calories that will not nourish your body. Donuts will blow your calorie budget. If you eat the donut your body will go into…
  • I was recently wondering if a Sontaran wore my sunglasses when I picked 'em up this morning from the kids room! Add me if you get it! I just started on here myself, and have various interests, the nerdy like included.
  • Oh MYYYYY!!! I am gonna try that! Yummy
  • I cook like I always did, but I add more veggies, reduce my starch portion, and reduce my meat portion -but I supplement in some kind of bean or dried pea, or both. You can always use canned, just watch the salt content. Veggies can be pricey so I try to buy what's on sale that I know what to do with it. Oooh, do you like…
  • Yes, I saw something about it being not bad, but not good for women that were already healthy. The guy at NERDFITNESS blogs about it as a way for him to achieve more results at the gym. For me, for right now though I am just triyng to lose weight. Fit women may not find it beneficial for fitness goals. I try a more relaxed…
