I always seem to be behind. I’ve skimmed the posts but sure I missed something. Do any of you pay for the premium version of MFP? I’m curious to know if you would recommend it and why you like (or dislike) it. I saw where it would track net carbs, which could be helpful. What I’d really like it to do is only track added…

Over 500 posts behind, but I have read them all. I’m struggling to keep up right now, but love you all.

Adore Your Wardrobe is starting a new class on Wednesday so they are really pushing it on FB and Instagram right now. If y’all are interested, my before and after picture along with my testimonial is one of those ads. They call me by first name in the ad so you know it’s me. Be forewarned - if you look at it your FB feed…

I am finally caught up again. The first posts I started reading were wishing people Happy Father's Day. I did a metabolic workout this morning - the first one in a long time. I tried to get through one about a month ago, but my husband called midway through and needed me to pick him up. For some reason, I let that derail…

Kim, all I know to say is Holy Kitten (insert correct MFP non-approved bathroom word for kitten)! Flea, prayers for you. I missed your original story but went back and re-read after comments made me realize I had missed something major. Thank you for telling us. We will be here for you. I am going Wednesday for my…

Rori, your shorter hair is gorgeous!

I'm all caught up with reading - over 300 posts. I don't have it in me to reply. Hugs to all who need them.

All caught up1 My tablet requires a password to access the forums, although it knows who I am if I want to log my food. So frustrating! I was too lazy to go look up the password, so I've been MIA. Hugs to Machka, Rori, Allie, and everyone else who needs one.

So behind. I just finished page 12. Wanted to send condolences to Rebecca and Barbara on the loss of their friends. Barbara, a walk to the "power line" is one of our daily walks, too. I had a similar experience with my college roommate. I tried to find her over the years but she wasn't on social media and she didn't pop…

Thanks y’all. Michele, I have no plans to do the other eye at this time. It doesn’t need it. I feel like I have improved vision already. My left eye has a clear lens in the glasses. I need to get back to actively trying to lose weight. The good news is that I have maintenance down pretty good and have not gained any. Dave…

Barbara, thanks so much for missing me. I’ve been skimming, but haven’t had much to say. I had my cataract surgery yesterday. Eye is a little scratchy, but otherwise I feel normal. They put a clear glass lens on the left side of my glasses. I can’t tell much difference vision wise, but they say they takes a while. Dave is…

Beth, I sent you a PM. Grief does indeed hit at weird times, often with no warning. I think I've shared the story with y'all before about my ugly crying in the grocery store the Christmas after my Aunt Sis died when they did not have the cake mix I needed to make her orange cake. It was like even the memory of her orange…

Thanks. It's not so much that he's unwilling, but that he doesn't think he can comfortably sit in a pew for an hour. His stitches from his surgery are all right at the bend of his waist. He needs to slightly recline or stand to be comfortable. We watched the sunrise service together in the sunroom, and he watched the 11:00…

Debbie, I'm so sorry about your kitty. We do love our fur babies so. Rebecca, in a spoiler since it's kind of TMI. It will be sad to go to the Easter service by myself. At least the sunrise service is still virtual, so we can watch it together at home in our sunroom, which faces east. Last year, when we weren't meeting at…

I know I was cracking jokes about my husband’s urology visit, but I am seriously starting to get concerned. It is 5 days post-surgery and he is still not able to empty his bladder on his own. Dr. Google doesn’t help! At least he has a urologist now. I have a feeling he is going to need him. I may have had more than my…

With all the mammogram talk, it is very interesting to me that the doctors have always gone out of their way to leave while you are getting undressed and dressed and keep you covered everywhere except the spot where they are looking. My husband on the other hand, with his catheter issues - yesterday at the urologist they…

Loved the video of Dr. Wimberly. I wish I had half her sense of style. My husband had hernia repair surgery on Monday. This was for a hernia that popped up at the site of his scope incision from the hernia repairs he had done last summer. This one did not go as well. Without giving out TMI, we've had an ER visit on Tuesday…

Great minds think alike! I said the same thing.

You loosened it for him! I have one of those OXO jar openers. It works on most jars for me. I have seriously lost strength in my right hand since my stupid finger injury/surgery.

Vicki, my sister is working on this same project. She is replacing her tub with a walk-in shower with bench, soap niche and grab bars and her quote was around $3200, I think. This price does not include demo, because she and her friends did that, including pulling off old tile and breaking up the tub and getting it out.…

A little more explanation for those who read the first saga: My husband had another hernia pop up. this time around his belly button close to where the incision for the scope for his previous hernia surgery is located. He's at the surgeon now for an opinion. Bless his heart. He tries so hard to be healthy, and he hates…

Okie, yay for water! We had to have a new pump back in the fall. We were never totally without water, just really low pressure. I can’t imagine being out for as long as you were. I am so spoiled. Beth, thanks for checking in. We are here for you however much or little you feel like posting. Welcome to the newbies! I’ll put…

I have the Kindle app on my phone so I can read my book. That's what I usually do when I'm waiting at a doctor's office or somewhere similar. I can check email, text, check this site and the debt free site I frequent, browse Amazon, play Candy Crush or Words with Friends. I don't play the games in public unless I turn the…

Oh, Beth. My heart is breaking for you. Hugs, hugs, and more hugs.

Snowflake, I had never noticed, so would have said no, but there it is! Right in the middle of my screen on my ipad. Crazy!

What is the thinking circle? If I have it, I’m unaware.

Here is a picture of mine with my breakfast. I used 3 5.3 oz cartons of Trader Joe’s plain Greek Yogurt and 2 cups of White Lily Self Rising Flour, egg wash, and Everything Bagel seasoning. 8 bagels. I put most in the freezer.
-
Debbie, this is not Lisa's recipe, but it is good, easy and fast. Just use equal parts of self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. A cup of yogurt and a cup of flour makes 4 regular sized bagels. I make them into a bagel shape by poking a hole in the middle with my finger and shaping the dough. You can also do it by making a…

Lisa wins the thread for the best workout of the day! I meant to comment on Pip's rug the other day. I had to take my iPad to the living room and compare because it looks so much like mine. It is different, but has all the same colors. So, of course I like it! I need to work all day today so I'm keeping this short. Y'all…

I'm caught up with reading again. I will comment on some with apologies to those who deserved a reply but I neglected. Beth, I actually teared up for you reading the story of your son's experiences in the group home. I am so angry on your behalf. On the separate finances: Dave and I married when we were both young and…
