I think they look absolutely revolting; they're dripping with grease and look like they were cooked in the fryer with the fries. I like a good hamburger...but that thing just looks nasty.

*coughs* You're also very good at giving the hugs, those hugs keep me going on days where I really don't want to. A simple word saying "hug", is sometimes all it takes, zyxst. OP...feel free to add me. Most of my "recent activity" is full of me going off about something, but my shoulders are there for my MFP friends.

I bought an Ozeri (brand) from Wal-Mart because my other one broke (it was flimsy). Thus far I like the Ozeri, and the digital is much easier on my eyes. I think it was $15 or so, and the flimsy one was around $10...I'm happy. Edited To Add: With regard to options and features, I have no idea. I just throw the food on…

Starlight Chocolate-Mint flavored mints (they curb my desire for chocolate on most days). 20 calories apiece Nuts Baked apple -n- cinnamon (haven't had this one in a long time...gotta buy apples) Regular tortilla chips with salsa (10 chips for 140 calories is nice; they're large chips) Dill pickles (high sodium though)…

You go, girl!! Great job, and yes, your post is motivational!

Hi. I haven't lost 100+ lbs, but I still need to lose 150 lbs (I'm down 50+ thus far, I'm avoiding the scale til tomorrow). I was worried about loose skin not even 2 days ago...flipping out about it, getting paranoid, having "what if" moments. Then, I had some sort of revelation. I would rather be alive and have loose skin…

Awesome post, OP, and I fully agree. For those who are saying that there is never a reason not to be nice...YES there is. When I joined here 2 weeks ago, I got a massive wake-up call by some very "blunt" people. I asked a few questions (I don't believe they were stupid questions, but they were questions) and got very…

I'm just editing this to delete what I said. Yeh, that.

Well, I have to say I like this thread; I'm getting an opportunity to converse with people outside of the ones in my head (and the ones living in the creases of the wallpaper). That, and there's an aroma of roasting turkey floating throughout my house. Good company, yummy scents, and people cussin' at someone. Yup, it's…

In all honesty I don't think I can elaborate. I was caught up in the ultimate foodgasmicality of it that my tastebuds lost consciousness. The experience was so exceedingly spectacular that I simply had to suppress the memory for sanity's sake. But...I know I enjoyed it.
-
Elaborate on what? *scratches head with a blank look*

(just a small portion of my food diary from a couple of days ago) I enjoyed every creamy, gooey, nutty bit of that damn Snickers bar. Why? Because I stayed within my limits *and* because I logged it. You know what, OP? I don't think I like you very much.
-
 *claps hands like Mama Klump in the Nutty Professor*

No, it is a bit of a problem according to you. Darn right. "Great Logging" - yes, it's great that they logged! "Well Done" - Heck yes...well done, you stayed within your goal. "Yummy day!" - "Yummy" is defined by everyone very differently. Correct! And, if someone who used to eat 6,000 calories per day is now eating 2000…

I think it's up to every individual. I weigh every Friday morning after I've woken up and have gone potty. I doubt anyone is as "duh" as I am sometimes, but if you have a lot of hair on your head like I do...make sure your hair is dry. I scared myself senseless once weighing with wet hair from the shower; I won't do that…

If someone is full of pot-stirring rhetoric, they need to shut up; it's that simple.

Your question has already been answered, but when I saw the title of the thread....my first thought was well...if you're losing chunks, you probably undercooked something IE: blowing chunks). :ohwell:

That's a major NSV. Well done. :)

You rock!! That inaccurate ticker has been driving me to the brink of insanity since the day I joined this site. LOL Thank you so much!:flowerforyou:

 I don't know what it is with me and post titles...I just don't think about "other stuff" when I make post titles. blah! ...the shoot, shovel and shut up kind of clued me in, lol. Thank you for all the recommendations, the advice, suggestions, links and input. I really DO appreciate it. My "Bookmarks" in my browser…

Why shouldn't you be proud of it? In my opinion, setting your phone to go off once an hour to remind you what you're trying to accomplish...is a TOOL, not something to be ashamed of. I'm not a clinical psychologist of any sort, but to me it sounds like a really good tool you implemented for yourself and your goals. Good on…

Very cool post, thank you.

LOL! Plbbb!! Yes, true...but the only thing I could find was information about a turkey's anatomy. I did find a few info sites about the actual innards, but it was saying to take them out of their respective bags, etc...these weren't in any bags, they were literally attached to the bird, so I thought they were different…

...and to think I joined this site purely for the easy calorie-counting and database. I'm learning so much here, it's crazy. Thank you, everybody! ETA: I just finished the first article, Pika...interesting stuff; thanks!

Thank you, at least now I know what to put in Mr. Google. =) That is a rather whimsical word, I think I like it..."giblets". With regard to inspecting them carefully to identify them...mmm...no. lol I had a tough enough time with the frog in biology class 20 years ago...*shudders at the memory*

Thank you :) I bookmarked them all and will go over them one at a time. My doctors have me eating 150 protein per day as it is. I really am trying...but seriously...steak, eggs, fish, chicken...that stuff is ridiculously filling. Not only filling, but lasting. I eat, and then by the time I'm supposed to eat again I'm still…
