I guess I misread you then, because it sounded like you thought I was implying what you stated. In any case, the answer is no...that's what I wanted to know. Either way I'm going to work my butt off, regardless of the pain and regardless of the outcome. I think the issue of loose skin is what bothers me the most (however…

The internet is so perfect for misreading people. I never said men had an easy time building muscle, nor did I say I had as much testosterone as a man...nor did I even come close to implying that. What I asked (in essence) was, will the fact that I produce excess testosterone have any effect on my muscle mass when I begin…

This is a really interesting topic, and something I've been curious about also. According to things I have read (which isn't alot), testosterone level greatly affects muscle mass; is that true? I guess the reason I'm wondering is because I have PCOS, and my testosterone level is astronomically high (haven't had it tested…

Very well done. Not only can I see a big difference in your weight, but also your posture. Your "after" pictures...you just "stand happier" if that makes any sense, and you hold your head up rather than level or down. Congratulations!! (and your hair looks awesome too, that cut really frames your face nicely)!

I do understand...taking it slowly is frustrating to say the least. It's not even about "instant gratification" as others have thrown at me here and there...it's more about wanting to just get rid of the negative (the fat, the sluggishness, etc) and replace with the positive (better health, better self-esteem, more energy,…

Editing my response because I need to stop making excuses. Swimming is a great idea...thank you. I'll see what is available in my area. I'm pretty sure most of the pools are chock full of children all the time, but it's worth a looksee. Thanks for the YouTube recommendation regarding the equipment..I don't know why I…

Thank you muchly...my knees weren't looking forward to those cardio machines because riding a bike is impossible (massive knee pain to the extreme and my right knee "gets stuck" in mid-cycle lol) so I imagine those would be similar in movement. I can do squats okay (the up and down movement is doable), it's the circular…

Well done and congratulations, you're lookin' mahhvelous!!

I didn't read all of the posts, but in case it hasn't already been stated..it's scientific...therefore the PMS isn't an excuse, but a reason (two different things). There's almost always a decline in seratonin (probably spelling that wrong) during PMS...and since carbs are what is used to make that, as is estrogen...the…

*dead silence as everyone reports the porn* I'm following the thread closely...just don't feel like participating in the argument. I do have friends in South Africa, and I do know exactly what's going on there (unfortunate that many don't). However...I have nothing to support it apart from my words so...just following…

...I can relate.

Do you mind if steal this part for my October ticker quote? ....this is awesome sauce! (I'll credit you at the bottom)

By the time I got to page 4 I forgot what the original post was about (kinda like whispering the same sentence down a row of 100 people and having something completely different said at the end). Have I seen one of these bumper stickers? No, I haven't. That being said...even though I'm just under 300 lbs (morbidly obese) I…

That isn't insignificant at all...well done and congratulations!! WORK IT! *snaps fingers*

I think you're the same person who said that you frequently go out with friends for drinks? Do you attend bars when you do this? I don't know about "current day" but there used to be a lot of bars that had co-ed softball and baseball teams...it was good PR for the bar, good exercise for the team, and good times, too. I was…

bahahahaha...I like this one the best, so far.

I'm glad you're proud of how far you've come; you should be! Congratulations, you look awesome!

That's definitely a victory! Congratulations!

Thank you for all the replies...I'm glad that feeling new curves where there used to be squish is normal. lol The reason I posted is because my husband saw me feelin' around my waistline (still can't believe I have a waist with 120+ lbs left to lose, but I have a massive lower belly, big booty, and huge thighs). He cocked…

My biggest obstacle is the way my mind blares the *amount* I have to lose...like a megaphone in an empty room. I've lost 50 lb, which is a piddle-fart amount to me, considering I have at least another 120 to go. A few people have said to just take it one pound at a time, but it's very difficult for me to have that mindset…

The worst thing a woman can say to a man is anything that makes him feel verbally castrated. ETA: I asked my husband and that's what he said. I asked him if I made him feel like that and he said, "Okay I changed my mind. The worst thing is when you assume I'm talkin about you and go on and on about it forever" ...:grumble:

Once in a great while, I read things, hear things or witness things that are just too mighty for words. You sir, definitely classify as "mighty" and I have no words. I use hugs when no word in any language could possibly do...so BIG hugs to you, mighty one. YOU CAN DO THIS

My mother's burger-bundles. She makes them differently than the recipes I have tried...so I finally got her recipe and followed it meticulously; they still don't taste like hers. :flowerforyou:

I'm not (too) worried about the sodium. My sodium limit is 1500mg/day but the 280mg of sodium in three decent-sized pickles is a lot better than the almost 1,000mg of sodium in 1 cup of cottage cheese (just realized today)...time to find some low sodium cottage cheese. Thanks again for the posts, everyone. :)

I hope you find the answers you are seeking, OP...but the quote above from vismal makes perfect sense (to me). Maybe it's *NOT* you consuming too many calories...but if you have dealt with not knowing for this long...surely a couple of months with consistent tracking and logging every single thing you put in your mouth…

Please don't yell at me or curse at me (OP or anyone else). But...since you said it's on the outside of your arches, on the sides of your feet, and you've never had this problem before...I have a stupid question...are you sure you had the left shoe on your left foot and the right shoe on your right foot? I'm *not* trying…

That was a seriously awesome video and a seriously awesome young lady...ty for sharing.
