Been working out my entire life without any issues. My wife and I work out after putting the kids to bed and we both sleep like logs. I am a morning person and could do it in the am but I find that it triggers my appetite too much and makes me hungry all day. As a result it's counterproductive for me to do it in the am.

If you activity level is generally low (sedentary), get one. If your activity level is already high, don't bother.
