You cannot live eating that little. Right now your organs are struggling to operate properly and any weight you lose is likely lean body mass. Eat more. Calculate your BMR and TDEE [/quote] ^^^THIS^^^^

There is a lot of good information in the posts prior to mine, but my one piece of advice for the sedentary job is to get a large workout ball to sit on instead of the chair. Helps with posture, core strength, balance, stiff back, etc. Made a world of difference for me because you are just plain moving more than you do in…

Trust Herman R Munster....he doesn't always give you the numbers you'd like to see, but he won't steer you wrong.

^^^^^This^^^^^ Read up on medical sights...NOT sights that sell detox programs. You will hear over and over again that detox juices and pills and diets work only to make you drop a pound or two that comes right back. Your body has organs that detox for you; just feed your body healthy foods and let it do its job.

If it is run for a charity, then YES.

I've spent a lot on 5k races (Warrior Dash and Hell Run), but the money has gone to charity. WD = St Jude Children's Hospital & HR = Cancer Research Livestrong I think.

Hey Tim; I just wanted to let you know that I hope you feel better, but don't worry about maintaining a fast pace in July. 1) My friends that have done Warrior Dash ALL say there are so many people in each wave that there is very little running, and 2) My knees are giving me so much trouble that I haven't been running for…

I only get 10,000 on days that I run or go for a hike.

I began lifting last November and hitting most of the machines in the circuit. I stopped doing the one for my shoulders because I felt like it was giving me that "hump" between my shoulders and neck. Other than that I lift for all muscle groups and have enjoyed the difference it's made in my body. Something to note to her…

Running it July 21st in North Bend, WA. I'm soooo excited!! I'm just working hard on the weights to build muscle for the obstacles, and running 3 days a week until I can do 3.55 (our W.D. course here) effortlessly. Good luck and most importantly, HAVE A BLAST!!!

  I have the fitbit and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! And yes, it did jump start my weight loss. I had plateaued, but have lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks of having it. It turned out I actually wasn't eating enough. The calorie burn it gives me is very close to my Polar HRM. It also sync's well with MFP!!
