  • I did it (completed) and loved it. It was one of my favorite workouts by her so far but I haven't tried them all yet. I've also done 30DS and currently doing her 6 week/6 pack abs which is highly recommended also. Stick with it and you will see results!
  • I've done 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30 before doing this one. I liked them both and really love the way they work everything. What would you recommend? Did level 2 again this morning, not sure if I'll be able to get my walk in tonight because my neighborhood is having National Night Out (I have to go since my son wants…
  • Went there once in Myrtle Beach, they have awesome pizza! Sounds like you'd have to consider a trip there a splurge and maybe make up for it later. Or exercise extra that day to help make up for it :) Have fun!
  • Sometimes I get a sugar free iced vanilla coffee from McDonald's, the medium is 90 calories. Or, make one at home: Coffee, ice, sugar free (or fat free) creamer, splenda.
  • No, I like routine so doing the same workout is fine for me :) By the time I'm done with this one in 2 weeks I'm sure I'll be ready for something different by then. (I just need to decide what that will be - sure it will be something JM though)
  • Started my second week of level 2 this morning. I am really loving it :) Tired and sweaty at the end but that just means I'm accomplishing something. I still get a kick out of when Jillian says "remember I'm ALWAYS watching you, kinda like a horror movie".........LOL Hope you all have a great Monday.
  • That stuff gets on my nerves when it happens but pretty much everyone I know knows that they're not going to get me to 'give in' because I've told them "no" enough. Maybe if you stay persistant they will eventually leave you alone. Good luck!
  • I've learned plenty but one would be how to pick things that don't have so much sodium. Not eating processed foods and eating more fresh vegetables, lean meats, etc.
  • I agree Basheera rocks! She's a tough cookie :) I can't do the advanced spider planks with push ups, I'm wondering if Basheera is wonder woman or something...lol ! Maddie is also in great shape though, I bet she could keep up with Basheera if Jillian made her...hahaha
  • Glad to be on this thread, I wasn't sure if anyone else on MFP was doing the 6 wk/6 pk routine. It seems like it's mainly 30DS or Ripped out there, I still love both of those but wanted to stick with this one for the whole 6 weeks. I did day 7 this morning of level 2. Boy, it is a lot of cardio but I'm slowly adjusting :)…
  • That is a great idea. Would've never thought of it. I too have a hard time on the weekends with water intake but have no problems during the week while working.
  • Hey there, just ran across this post. I've been doing 6 wk/6 pk for 4 weeks now (did level 1 for 3 weeks now I'm on level 2). I had joined in another post that only lasted a month which was a Jillian Michaels combo workout alternating 30DS, RI30, etc. I found that once I moved on to level 2 of 6 wk/6 pk I was getting…
  • It can vary from person to person but for me it's around 10 lbs or so.
  • I have a good one but I doubt it's a healthy one and it involves adding chocolate chips...lol
  • Just remember you need to log everything you eat, a handful of crackers, any sweet snacks, etc. Because at the end of the day when you see how much those calories add up it should help you cut out any unnecessary snacking. At first it can be hard but eventually you'll look at those things and think "it's not worth the…

  • I haven't tried the JM brand but another one in chocolate flavor and I use Silk light vanilla soymilk. I shake it (rather than stir) because it mixes better.
  • There's going to be a lot of opinions on this topic, that being said I do not eat them back.
  • You might get better advice from the guys but I would say yes just make sure you get plenty of protein from lean meats, eggs, perhaps protein drinks (after working out), etc. Good luck!
  • I hear you on the bathroom thing, I feel at least it gets me up from my desk often enough throughout the work day...lol. I try to cut back on the water at least an hour before bedtime though...
  • That is awesome :) I am hoping for a lower BP reading myself, it is gradually coming down now that I'm eating right.

  • I used to keep a lot of frozen processed food in the freezer too but since joing MFP I have cut that out and only go for lean meats, fresh veggies/fruit, etc. I have really cut back on sodium also and really pay attention to the amounts on the labels.
  • Ditto that and veggie burgers, greek yogurt, and then more chicken on top of that....LOL Good luck!
  • Did another day of 6 week/6 pack level 2. I know you all are probably like "lord isn't she tired of that yet?" but honestly, I really like how it kicks your tail, I just know it's doing me good when I'm panting and sweating so profusely like that..........lol. I know this thread is about to end soon since it's the end of 4…
  • Hahahaha, that was cute ;0 Love it! Good luck ladies!
  • I weigh it after, I guess I just never wanted to put raw chicken on the scale...lol. Plus, unless it's a big portion of meat, the weight isn't going to change that drastically after being cooked.
  • 6 week/6 pack level 2 done this morning. Took the day off work today to go to the water park with my hubby and son :) It's going to be another hot one today. My weight is still down this morning, yay! Might do my weigh in tomorrow though. Happy "baby Friday" (almost Friday) everyone!
  • Not accurate at all, I have checked it already, it doesn't take into account plateaus (I've had 2 so far in a 5 week span). I think it is meant as a motivator.
  • Agreed! LOL
  • You should have your protein right after exercising to "refuel" your body.
  • Plateaus are such a pain, I'm just coming off another one that lasted for more than 2 weeks (I still have about 15 lbs to lose). This was even while working out every day (I do Jillian Michaels DVD's also) and eating very carefully. When I reach my goal weight I may be doing to same thing and want to lose a few extra so…
