Hello :)

Haha at first I read this as a new client, like...not me. Blonde moment :D

Feel free to add me! I also post a lot of my meals on instagram @theterriblevegetarian
-
I'll add you!

I don't even mean just taking rest days...but doing nothing even after having worked out hard during the day. Even if I do a workout, I still feel guilty later on if I spend time just sitting around
-
I've already run 5k today, walked another 5k, and did a weight training session. I feel pretty tired, but still feel bad sitting around haha
-
Hey! I know this post is from a while ago, but I also moved to Finland a year and a half ago. I'll add you :)

I want to lose 20-25 as well. I can motivate and encourage, I'm competitive too ;) Anyone can feel free to add me!
-
Hello everyone! I'm 5'2". My highest weight was 156, current weight is 148, goal weight is around 125-130. Feel free to add me! :D

Added you! Any others can feel free to add me :)

That's awesome! Congrats to you, and keep up the great work!

I totally understand. My boyfriend is a professional hockey player and eats all day long. We've lived together for 3 years and that's how the weight (about 20 lbs) has crept on. I always wanted to eat when he ate, but I am not a professional athlete burning it all off! I have to remind myself that we are different people…

This is a great thread! I am looking to lose about 20 lbs that I can't seem to get rid of. Here are some of my goals: 1. Work on having a healthier relationship with food. Right now, I tend to be an emotional eater and am always thinking about food. 2. Get into a more consistent weight lifting routine. 3. Get into good…

I'm 5'2" and looking to lose about 20-25 pounds. Feel free to add me

Request sent!

I'll add you! I'm also 5' 2" and my goal is 128, so we're pretty close! Current weight is 148. Right now, I'm training to run a half marathon, which is on June 18. I've kind of hit a weight loss plateau during my training (which I've read is common) so I'm hoping it will improve after my race!

Hello! I've got about 25 to lose and would love some more friends in a similar situation. (and my profile pic is old, too. It's my motivation for what I want to get back to...)
-
I am also 5'2" and currently 150. I was super athletic in high school and part of college. Now, I am trying to get back down to 128, and I'm running my first half marathon in June. Hope you don't mind if I add both of you!
-
I just moved to Finland in June (from the US). I have lost about 5 pounds, but only because I have a lot more free time to exercise now than I did before. My downfall here is the bread. So. Much. Bread. Feel free to add me, I'm always looking for more friends!
-
I'm in Finland, but you can add me if you'd like. Things are expensive here, too :)
-
Thanks for the advice :) I used to be a runner...back in the day ;) but I am following a long and slow training plan for this one, so hopefully all will go well!
-
Thank you!
-
Thanks! Good luck to you, too!
-
I'm also 5'2 and currently, I am 154. I used to be very athletic in high school and weighed 109 at the time, but 10 years later, I've packed on the weight. Looking to get down to 128, which is where I was around this time 3 years ago.
-
Thanks, everyone. It's nice to know I'm not the only one.

Of all the comments on here, I have been thinking about this one constantly for the past several days. I think this helped me reach my "aha" moment. I realized that I always lead the conversation with, "I used to be 20 lbs lighter..." And I think in a strange way, this was an excuse for me to not work to get it off. As if…

Thanks!

Thanks, everyone! This is why I love MFP

Thanks so much for the kind words. I know I just have to keep reminding myself that I CAN do this. It really helps to hear it from you guys, though, too.

Hi LAWoman. I am 27. I was definitely more active in high school and college, so I know that has a lot to do with it. When I started working full time after college, I was at a company that had a great wellness facility with lots of equipment and free classes. The past two years, I've worked at a company that doesn't have…
