Thanks for all the input, I'm feeling like sticking to a ~20 minute light cardio before lifts should be good

Oh, I never knew it took that long to start recovery! I feel like it does slightly affect my lifting in a way. Like, I can still do everything I planned to do and add weight every week, it just makes me more tired while doing it, which is annoying.

Like which?

I never know how to approach the guys at the gym. They're busy working out I don't wanna bother them :/ heh..:/

Yeah I think I'm going to try lifting out. I think I get it now; you all explained pretty well!

Another thing, if you guys are saying the runners/dancers are just really skinny and not muscular, so their muscles are just exposed...idk if that makes sense. Because I'm 105 pounds but I don't look like a runner or yogi. Shouldn't my muscles be exposed by now?? BMI 19.8. Believe me I'd love to go lower but I lose my…

I suppose I could give it a try, I'm just afraid of not getting the look i want. I mean if that were to happen how do you go back from there? Also what if I finally get to the point where I have some muscle but not too much--how would I just maintain that without gaining more muscle??

I'm hardly in a healthy weight range, I'm 5 lbs from overweight. :( @francl27 that's a great point. I'm probably not. @digginDeep It does though, for organ function etc. However, it shouldn't be 3000+ at my height, probably.

@eldamiano Yeah, that's a huge part of it, ugh.
-
@lisajo That could definitely be part of it. I really need to drink more water. I know this for a fact.

I'm not an amateur psychologist but when I do this, it's because I'm scared I will do it and the anxiety I experience from having done it isn't as bad as the "what if I do it?" anxiety. I really need to learn to deal with the "what if I do it?" kind.

I hardly want to lose any, just a few vanity lbs and to stay in the healthy range! :) I burn over 1000 on the treadmill every day.
