I cycle my calories too, find it a much more sustainable approach and for me I have had better weight loss since I started cycling rather than staying at a certain deficit

I tried psyllium for a little while, made me feel horribly bloated though but did the trick. It doesn't necessarily aid with fat loss but it can make you feel fuller so you'll eat less... probably why I felt so bloated all the time :-)

I've lost 30lbs since February and have around another 10lbs to go. I think I've been quite lucky as my weight loss has always been pretty consistent but I have no doubt that is pretty likely to change now so I've given myself a goal of around 6 months to lose the last 10lbs :)

Cardio first thing fasted and weights around 5-6pm :)

To gain lean muscle protein intake should be around 1g per lb of body weight so definitely isn't up too high :)

Sounds more like water retention to me, most likely due to period but are you drinking enough daily?

I do my workouts fasted in the morning too, I had the same issue and I tried eating a banana or a protein shake prior and I just ended up feeling sick, it took a few days of adjusting to doing it on an empty stomach but now I wouldn't do it any other way :)
