  • Who says he isn't caring? Maybe he does care. Just because you don't mention something doesn't mean you don't care. When people tell me something personal like that(especially if it makes them upset), I let them bring it up. And no.....You not only can't change someone....You should take them as is!
  • Ahhh...99.9% of us have been in your shoes at one time. It is just water. Make sure you log it and you will see it disappear in the next couple days. I am like that every Monday now so I don't even think about it. We all have our days and you can't expect to eat perfect all the time :)
  • Homemade steak stew...I put no fatty meat in at all, potatoes, carrots and turnip. Very filling and low cal. Another is Subway as long as you hold the mayo. I get a sub with no cheese/mayo loaded with turkey and lettuce and it is filling without all the cals
  • Peanut butter....Only jumpin's, I went to have a peanut butter cup last night and the calories in it...WOW! And another thing is drink some calories. Do you like French vanilla capps? Those have 450 cals per cup at the chain coffee shops
  • Great job!!! What a difference!!!!
  • Up your calories for awhile to about 1500 and make sure there is tons of fiber in it. Your cals are crazy low and that is just not healthy. Hugs dear and best of luck.
  • Are you losing? If so. keep it up :) The only thing I noticed was that you are not logging your water. I am down 43 pounds(started in Jan28/'18) and I have never tracked sugar, protein, fats, etc. We are all different.
  • Been there but bigger than that. Hugs Hun...It will get better. Just take it one day at a time. xo
  • It is all good peeps. I don't see why everyone is attacking. I see plenty of beachbody, keto, etc. This is no different. Be nice. Welcome to MFP Sir! :)
  • I always did but I just got a fitbit and it logs every thing I do
  • Go to apps...add fitbit app and you will have the calories changed for your day :)
  • Welcome :)
  • Hunny...How tall are you?
  • Hi :) Isn't 9 stone only about 120 pounds?
  • Ok...I think the best right now would be to do what @eminater said. Focus on the foods first. Afterall, it is 80% food. Be kind to yourself. You will get there :)
  • I have upped my workouts this past month as well. My numbers have been going down just a bit but my inches have been really changing. I don't have much to lose so it is slow. Do you have much to lose?
  • OMG!! What business it of anyone else? He is 28 freakin' years old. He knows he is overweight and it is no ones business but his if he wants to lose weight but his. Leave him alone. If someone had told me that I needed to lose weight when I did need to, I would have told them to go <>^%$ themselves. I knew. That is just…
  • Good morning ladies! I am 50y/o with two teen boys. I have been married for 32 years. Started here in '14 at 214 and lost a lot of weight but gained it all back. I restarted in January of this year and am down to 161. Feel free to add me. I am a daily logger from Prince Edward Island, Canada.
  • My MIL joined TOPS a few years ago and lost so much. She is on maintance now. It is so much like here. It sounds like you have great support and now you have more on here ;) Welcome to the craziness and you will be awesome!
  • I set my goal weight for the top end of the bmi scale. I am getting very close. How did you decide where you sit on the maintance scale?
  • I think we are all different. What works for one person may not work for another. Years ago(25yrs), I did the cheat day once a week and kept it off until I had my 1st son(8 yrs skinny). I tried doing it the way that people seem to like it on here and it did not work for me. In mid-January, I started doing my cheat meals…
  • Carrot sticks, fat free yogurt, my go to is smart pop popcorn in seasalt to curb my salt cravings
  • I have either a grilled cheese or a Stouffers turkey and stuffing. They are both very low in calories. Are you working? Do you have access to a microwave?
  • ^^ Nope The good thing about tiny boobs is you can wear whatever you like and not look..umm.....You know. Before I gained my weight, I had 34c and I loved them. I wore tiny little tank tops all the time. Now, I have to layer and it sucks. I lost 40 pounds and not the tiniest amount came off my chest. The pic of me at 30…
  • In Canada, we have a few stores that have extreme sales 99% of the time(as they do in other Countries). I buy from them at a min. of 80% off. I never pay more than $10(reg up to $199) for jeans and usually buy one size too small for me at least unless it is jeans I have been dreaming of and if I can't get them on size…
  • Good morning ladies!! I am from Prince Edward Island/50 years old July: Lost 5 pounds Amped up my walk to 8km plus August...I am hoping to keep it up. I have 11 left to lose before I re-evaluate. I find I am having to work so hard to lose weight now that I am getting to the lower number, but it will be worth it in the end,
  • Yes..It sounds like sodium. I do as rosebarnalice but maybe just taking your little one out for a walk daily might be your answer?
  • Good morning! This is the only app that has every helped me. I use the free version as well. Honestly, if I were to start again, here is what I would do -Log for a week without changing anything to see what you are eating and how your exercise(if you do) -Start by either upping an exercise or start cutting down on food for…
