I used http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ to figure out my TDEE. Pretty easy to use, just plug in your numbers and voila!

Hey there - saw your other post and agree that you need to incorporate more protein, veggies and good fats. Since you're exercising a lot, why not try a protein shake? It won't leave you feeling extremely full and you'll get some added protein into your diet. I always keep almonds handy, too, for this purpose.

Last year I lost 6lbs in one week...that was after a week of losing 1, gaining .5, losing 2, etc. I'm usually between .5-1lbs lost. Two weeks ago I lost 3.5lbs in a week. It's very few and far between.

Feel free to add me. I'm almost 37 and have been on MFP for over a year and a half...logging consistently for 266 days. I'm approaching the 20lb mark. It's been extremely slow for me, but I haven't given up and I won't. I've tried IPOARM, BMR, TDEE-10, 20, 30% and nothing has triggered it for me. I think I may have found…

I like brown rice - plain and fancied up. My favorite is with sauteed onion and cilantro!

Great job! Keep up the good work!

It's amazing what the body can do when your mind is in the game. Congrats on your progress and success. Well done!

Wonderful story. Congratulations on your weight loss and your little girl. Thanks for sharing your story!

Funny that you posted this - was on my way to work this morning and thought the same thing about me! Love these type of NSVs. Congrats!

Tough to really say without seeing your diary. It could be water weight. I go in spurts with my losses. I can be up a little, down a little for weeks then for a few weeks I'll be down a few lbs each week. One bad day shouldn't counteract a week of good. Get back to the good and give it more time.

BRAVO!!

Having your period shouldn't deter you from doing anything in life...exercise included. I don't get all symptomatic (PMS, bloating, cravings, cramps) like a lot of women do, but if it does happen, working out actually alleivates some of the discomfort. As for what to use - tampons. I can't imagine using a pad for anything.…

I'm in the same boat and could use some helpful tips, too!

I'm not the one to be giving advice on adding muscle, but I understand your fear. I'm sure someone will pop up here and give you some good food for thought. Congrats on your progress, though. 11lbs makes a definite difference. You look great. Keep the faith and keep working, you've done great!

^^This! 30lbs is awesome - celebrate and keep moving. Congrats!

Yay!! I completely understand. I had that same "fear." Run on!!!

I had mine in '99 during the last year of college. I was a 38 F+. I can't tell you exactly because I refused to buy big enough bras and kept stuffing them in smaller ones! I am 5'3" and was a little overweight at the time, but not by much. My surgeon told me my weight was fine. Insurance covered my surgery as it had been…

Very nicely done! You look great!

LOVE IT! Congrats!

How did you come up with 1687 - is that your BMR? Does that include calories you eat back from your exercise? Two weeks isn't very long, so perhaps give it another few weeks. If still no progress then cut 100 cals and see if that helps, but you need to be patient.

You have to just put one foot in. I have started and stopped so many times and this time while I may skip a day of working out or I don't make a great food choice, I don't let it derail me. I start again the next day. Starting is always the hardest part, so don't let a bad day turn into a bad week or a bad month. Tell…
