I did crossfit for a few months and then 5/3/1 at home before (in preparation for) getting pregnant. I lazily took about 6 months to go through one 5/3/1 cycle (they usually take a month) postpartum. Then I picked it up and did the next cycle in about a month (next week will be deloading week). So I think I've successfully…

You're only trying to hit 64 g of fat a day? That shouldn't be too difficult. More peanut butter, nuts, maybe real butter instead of the Country Crock stuff I saw in your diary would be a good start. Olives are a great one if you don't mind the sodium. I get a lot of my fat from animal fat: bacon, pork steaks, fattier cuts…

I live in the mid west, so somewhat different on the specific plants, but in general: We're going into fall, so more root/storage plant parts right now. Basically you eat the part of the plant that is growing. In fall, many plants are storing up energy for the winter, so for your edibles you are going to be digging this…

My husband thanks you in advance.

You forgot musician. I actually know quite a few people with face tattoos, and almost all of them are musicians. The two exceptions are a fellow that makes his living in leather crafts, and a woman with that tattooed on makeup, if you count that.

I'm 5' 4.75" Before lifting and pregnancy, I maintained at 109-111 lbs on about 1740 cal/day, if I was doing nothing exercise-wise. When I started lifting, I needed closer to 1950 cal/day net. Now that I'm breastfeeding and lifting, it's about 2600 to maintain.

I read through all 13 pages and didn't see *my* breed. I love *most* dogs, but this girl is amazing. She's not even really a dog, more like a piece of my soul that got trapped in something four-legged and found her way back to me. I don't even care how cheesy that sounds. She was also the very first of her breed to get an…

I would say focus more on exercise. For me getting in a nice long walk with my pup or a good lifting session does way more to help me relax than, well, most anything else.

Yeah, it's kind of insane that that's the same guy that did the LOTRs. Did you ever see his first one, Bad Taste?

I can't believe I'm just now seeing this. I've been putting my mfp data into excel by hand for years!

I have stopped and thought about it... mostly because this topic comes up frequently, especially when someone gets upset about how a post goes.

I'm going to disagree with PP. It's not at all unusual to keep extra weight on while nursing. Here's a quick article on it: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2642045/The-great-myth-breastfeeding-weightloss-New-mothers-told-breastfeeding-shift-post-pregnancy-tum-In-fact-did-OPPOSITE-women.html ^^^There's a lot wrong…

At my 38 week appointment, the dr said I was 60% effaced and 1 finger dilated. He moved my appointment for the next week one day earlier (Wed instead of Thur) and gave me 50/50 odds that I'd make it to the appointment. I didn't; she came three days later. ETA: Birth story here:…
