WTF are Rocky Mountain Oysters? I assumed it was seafood until your last sentence. I'm at work and can't Google that for fear of what will pop up...

That is a great NSV! Way to go! I love reading these stories! Muscle, however, does not weigh more than fat. 1 pound = 1 pound. Muscle is more dense than fat so it takes up less space, so you can gain weight while in fact being smaller! It took me a while to wrap my head around that too. I keep track of my measurements…

Huge beer fan. I've switched to light of my favourite brand though for the most part. If draught is available I'm not getting lite... I try to find that balance. If I have a regular beer with a meal then I try and keep the food lighter. I'll NEVER give it up completely, that won't work for me. I know that so I work with it…

I love this idea. I'm going to give it a try!

I'm 5'4", 172.5 lbs, I'm a 10 or 12 depending. I'm currently wearing size 10 Gap jeans that fit well and have a 12 pair that fit okay but are a little loose. My hips are 42", if that helps.

Hi! I'm 29, 5'4" and started out at 195 as my heaviest and started MFP at 190. I'm 173.4 as of today. Feel free to add me if you'd like :) ETA - I do New Rules of Lifting for Women, I'm just finishing stage 1. Also I'm an hourglass frame, but pretty athletic build. I'll never be tiny and I'm okay with that :) current…

Welcome. There are lots of people everywhere (not just here) who are out to bring others down. You're on your way to making changes! Just stick with it :) :flowerforyou:

Photos aren't work, Kelly! I've been watching your progress on my feed everyday, you're doing amazing! I hope I"ll get to see final pictures of you being a beautiful bride on your wedding day!

Savings! Thanks for this, sounds awesome!

Exactly. I had the exact same situation with a coworker a few years ago. She was on me about starting to run and so I finally got her to sign up for the race, she did well (and she trained too) but still was on me about being slow and fat. She was a treat.

New Rules of Lifting for Women is good for me, so far. I'm in the first stage but its really popular on MFP with a lot of ladies but there are lots of programs out there! Stronglifts is another one, I haven't tried it but have heard good things on the forums!

Hi ladies! I have been away from this group for a while but I am back! I haven't left MFP at all and definitely am on it more than Facebook :) I was down to 173 as of 2 weeks ago but then my eating got a bit crazy and TOM came so apparently now I'm up 6 lbs :( Progress has been excruciatingly slow but my wedding isn't…

Amen.

I'm back! I'm down to 173-175 (water weight :ohwell: ) so I'm looking to get back at it! My wedding is October 4, 2014 so a ways to go yet but my goal is to fit into a size 10 sample dress at a boutique here. Fingers crossed :) Lets do this!
