If you aren't ready to buy then don't buy. If amazon is selling them cheaper then ask them to match the price. That's what I do. Buying shoes is a hellish experience for me as a runner and for many others. It's the worst part of running. Even if you find a model you love, the manufacturer could totally redesign it next…

I would stop bothering with that kind of diet. On her website she says that someone in "Phase 1" of her "diet" lost 17 pounds in 5 days as though that is somehow healthy or good in any way. That's a dangerous amount of weight to lose in 5 days and it certainly could not all be fat. Just use MFP to count your calories and…

Speed will come with time. Duration and distance are more important for fitness.

I can't say I've really seen any threads that I thought were pro-anorexia.

Every woman I've ever known has retained water during her TOM.

You could be on to something.

I have 4 children and my oldest is 5. My wife and I take turns running. I run 4 days a week, she runs 3. I do strength training at home, usually in the yard because they'd be all over me if I was on the floor inside.

Macros are very important for a bodybuilder trying to go from 8% BF to 2%. I just focus on calories for the most part.

Some people use a golf ball to roll with their foot to massage away the pain. The current (April) edition of Runner's World has an add for a roller ball thing that looks AMAZING. I don't have what you do but even I want this thing. It's coming out this year.

Working 24 hour shifts definitely wreaks havoc with my system, especially if the overnight sucks. Back when I was eating more because I weighed more, I would go a month sometimes without a cheat meal. I hope I can get back to that.

You know, I've been thinking about how low in calories most vegetables are. I'm definitely going to try and up my fruit and veggie intake big time. Thanks a lot Joe, your advice really helps.

Are you saying that when I binge I should binge on whole foods as opposed to junk food? I'd like to not binge at all and instead just find a balance where I can lose weight and never have to feel like I'm going to lose my mind between meals because I'm craving sugar so badly.

Already did that 2 weeks ago, my numbers are great.

Well why is MFP putting me at 1530 for 2lbs/wk loss?

You're right, I'm trying the roadmap.

Sounds good, hope it actually works.

I'm currently experimenting with Brooks but I started with Asics and on my feet right now are Asics GT-2000. I just think that I might be a 4E instead of a 2E and I'M GOING INSANE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE RIGHT SHOW FOR ME IS. I AM LOSING MY MIND WITH OBSESSION.

I believe that lightly active is for people who spend a good part of the day on their feet. Just being on your feet for hours and hours burns a lot of calories over time.

Exercising and eating right really does work!

Maybe Dr. Oz has the answer! Could this device be some sort of lung purifier?

Impressive!

You already have six-pack abs. If you want people to see them you have to remove the layer of fat that is covering them up. That's the only way.

I require structure because left to my own devices my default stance is sloth, gluttony and self-destruction. I anticipate that I will always have to track my calories.
