I eat taco bell quite often and the pounds keep melting off. I'm glad you've found something that works for you and that you're excited about but it's certainly not for everyone and even for those who find early success with it, I have my doubts that they are able to continue for very long.

Just eat stone ground whole wheat bread and stay away from the white, bleached, enriched and refined variety.

That needs more ketchup and mayo. And extra pickles.

You need a consistent caloric deficit to lose weight. I don't know how to help you if you won't track what you are eating accurately as that is the only method I am aware of to achieve that.

Oh man, Lt. Yar was pretty hot even though I don't really dig short hair. Don't tell Lt. Cmdr. Data though, he was all up in her business.

I lost over 70lbs with MFP before gaining almost all of it back. This time, I think I've found something that works for me. And, if there's one thing I've learned, it's that where you are right now and how you feel and think and practice your attempts at fitness may not bear any semblance to how these things are a year…

http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml This is all you need. I never used the app, I just scrolled down and used the running plan as laid out. Also, you'll need this a properly fitted pair of running shoes. Make your way to a local running store and don't leave until you have a pair that meets your needs. The…

Addictions are rooted in the habitual seeking of the sensations experienced when neurotransmitters are made to flood the brain because of the ingestion of a substance; heroin causes this, cocaine causes this, food causes this. Eating is an addiction for many people who crave the dopamine release that follows the ingestion…

Does it also offer terrible lifting form that is destined to injure you and terrible, unscientific advice about what to eat that you must lock-step agree with if you want to be accepted? That's what I've seen of crossfit.

Don't feel too bad, I gained back like 70 pounds myself. I'm not having as much success this time back but I'm trying.

I am at war with myself daily. On one side is my desperate need to eat whatever I want, whenever I want and on the other is my desire to be physically fit and age well. I take it one day at a time.

I think it's prudent to log all the calories of which you are aware.

Sit the bar further back, sit it on your muscles, not on your cervical spine. Don't use the pad, it's not necessary. I take great pleasure in taking off the pad and tossing it to the floor with disdain when I'm setting up the rack for my squats.

The only reason I try to avoid high levels of processed carbs in my diet is because I feel so hungry and miserable later because my insulin levels are all over the place. Other than that, I see little value in avoiding them.

You know, they make adult diapers now that feel just like real underwear, at least, that's what the commercial says.

Going from a size 8 to a size 4 means you have lot less weight to lose than some other people. Stop trying to be so aggressive with your weight loss and adjust your desired weight loss to 0.5 or 1 pound per week; this is a more sustainable approach for your needs.

I'm a paramedic and have encountered multiple patients who were obese and had elected to have bariatric surgery years earlier. The weight loss is not always permanent and often these patients complain of suffering from multiple complications requiring multiple follow-up surgeries.
