Love Pigeon Pose: Benefits: Stretches the thighs, groins, back, and psoas. Opens the chest and shoulders. http://yoga.about.com/od/yogaposes/a/pigeon.htm (The only thing I would add to their instructions is when you come into forward bend over the right leg, per the example, concentrate on trying to keep you left hip…

LOL! If I'm not watching Chalene then those are the gals I watch too! She does get sooo excited that it makes me laugh, but I love her Brazillian accent. Shawn makes me laugh too in Stretch 10 because he is really "selling" the happy! LOL:laugh:

I just wear it during workouts, but you could definitely wear it all day. The strap goes right under your bra strap so I don't even feel it. :)

A couple months ago I bought the Polar Tech FT7 (with chest strap) and I love it!

Turbo Jam is great! I did Turbo Jam for a couple years before I had my daughter and I loved every minute of it. I recently got back into the healthy habit and am trying out TurboFire now. I'm in week 14 of that program and I love it as much as I do Turbo Jam! Good luck to you. It's an amazing program. Feel free to add me…

Uhhh...YUM!

I am proud of all of you! Wow! Such fabulous discoveries you all have been making and motivational things you have been doing! I sometimes get so frustrated with the scale not moving because I get caught up in that old mindset and that is hard to shake. That being said I have lost somewhere around 13 lbs since January on…

Fantastic job!! You are the incredible shrinking woman!

Thanks butterflycz!. I think that I what I'm going to do, but I might rewind some of the HIITs in HIIT 25 and do them 3 times instead of only twice. I am soooo disappointed that Upper and Lower 20 aren't available anymore. Boo!
-
Thanks so much! That is what I was thinking too that it might be just as good to substitute for those.

Love HIIT! Been doing TurboFire HIIT program. 10 weeks in, 13 lbs down, 13 inches gone.

^^This. Remember exercise and health is a lifestyle if you want to have permanent change, so in essence, you are not starting over but continuing. As with life, you are going to have days that you don't hit your personal "targets", but there is always tomorrow. Keep up the good work and the positive attitude.

Congratulations lady! Those are some fantastic results! You are definitely an inspiration. I am just about to complete week 10 and I'm down 13 lbs and 13 inches. I also hope I have results as great as you by the end of the 20 weeks. Way to go. Be proud. I'll be interested to hear about your results after doing Insanity.…

My knees bothered me too when I first started with what I would call "stress" aches, not sharp pains. I blew my right knee out when I was 17 and was told a couple years ago that there isn't much cartilage left in the knee joint. The therapist recommended exercise to avoid surgery, so exercise is what I'm finally doing.…

I'm 5'6", 172 lbs, eating approx 1700/day, working out 5-6 days/week (cardio 3-4 times, strength training - 2 times). When I last checked I had lost 9 lb's and 9 inches in 9 weeks.
-
Fantastic results butterflycz!! I'm on week 7 of the full TurboFire rotation. 6 day's a week. So far I've lost 9.5 lbs and 9 inches.

Sounds unbelievably delicious!! Gonna try! Thanks for sharing.

I would suggest getting the HRM too. I was using MFP's "High Impact Aerobics (Includes Turbo Jam)" option to log my calorie burn for weeks. I just got a new HRM and it tells me that I'm burning within 50 calories of what MFP's calculation was. On the days that I do Fire30 with Tone or Sculpt, I was using the same High…

Well, I ended up curbing my sugar cravings inadvertently when I gave up soda. I had given up sugared soda in college and switched to diet. I continued to drink diet soda by and can-ful daily into my late 30's. I probably averaged 3-6 cans per day. Then one day in May of 2012 I just stopped drinking it. Mainly because I…

FANTASTIC!! You look great!!

Great job! Keep at it. It only gets better and better!

Today was W6D1 for me, so that means TF55 EZ also. I can say that this morning was the first time I have been able to make it through the entire video without the need to hit the pause button for fear I was going to pass out. LOL I kept up with Chalene step for step except for a couple short periods when I needed to go low…

I'm in the middle of week 5 and this morning was the TurboFire 30, plus TurboFire Tone. I have a form question. I have noticed when I am doing upper body with resistance bands that I am straining the muscles on both sides of my neck. They ache, especially when doing lateral or shoulder presses. I cannot figure out how to…

I also have bad knees from sports injuries, but I have been able to follow TurboFire and Turbo Jam without issue. I would recommend using the instructional versions to begin with, which come included on each of the DVD's. I think they do a great job of teaching you how to rotate correctly and correct form to help protect…

Congratulations! You have gotten awesome, and hard-earned, results! I'm starting week 5 on Monday and will be thrilled if I progress as well as you have. Keep up the great work!
-
Great info everyone! I have been struggling with this same question, so I input my stats into each of the sites that were recommended and came up with an average TDEE for myself. I guess that would be a good starting place for daily caloric requirements. Thanks!!
