I brew my own that way you can control how strong it is. I use a Mr Coffee esspresso maker with steam wand. I brew one batch of coffee and steam skim milk to make a latte (half coffee - 1 cup, half skim milk - .33 cup = 38 cals) I add an International Delight Vanilla Latte creamer single (30 cals). Total 68 calories and…

I totally agree with this. You would have to have such low body fat to achieve a six pack that it would have to consume a big chunk of your life achieving it. But flat tummy would be great!

I've been limiting my sugar for the past few weeks and tonight I tried some fudge and it gave me heart burn so bad it completely turned me off. I guess my body is trying to tell me something.

I've done the same thing this week so I totally relate to what you are experiencing. Most of us here have been there too. But I refuse to beat myself up over it and you should too. Be kind to yourself and it will pass. And I truely believe having this website and all these wonderful people here who will listen, comfort and…

I too have this problem. So I have allocated upto 300 cals for that time and usually make hot green tea. I'll mix 1 T almond butter with 1 T cocoa powder and a little skim milk to help blend and warm slightly in the microwave. Then I add frozen fruit like berries or half banana and top with greek yogurt or lite cool whip…

Yes, I am 5'7" and 176 but have been down near 140 at my lowest adult weight. I could easily run a 5 K in 30 mins or less and can do endless jumping jacks, jump rope, etc. I have strong legs, shoulders and back. Even my abs are strong, but I'm overweight and carry most of my weight in my core area and arms. People often…

Oh yes! My boyfriend is 15 years younger than me. I'm 47, he's 32. Been together 5 years. I guess you could say I've always felt young at heart. Even most of my best friends are 10 years younger than me.

Good job! Way to go girl!

Hi Red team! I'm very excited and motivated to do this. I've been an MFP-er since May 2011 however I stopped posting for a while and just came back here in Dec 2011 to have another attempt at this. I find this site motivating and helps me feel accountable. I have had many false starts over the last year, trying P90X and…

I just got the APP and love it way more than the WS. I go to the WS for forums, etc but for adding food and exercise, the app is way easier. Its well worth it

I feel the same. Today I weighed in and gained the 2 lbs I lost last week and then 1 more - yikes. The first thing I did after I kicked my scale and screamed profanities at it, was to go make a cup of coffee (which I will log in my diary in a moment) and get on the message boards here and voila - your message screamed out…

Just wanted to add a few observations I have made along the way with starting new programs. A lot of people get discouraged (myself included) when they feel like they are working out really hard and eating right but don't see any results on the scale. At first I used to think it was just my age (47) but then I realized…

Yeah, and today I did L3 twice and it was hard! A few months ago I did Insanity for 7 weeks and that was much more intense on the cardio part, but in this one there is more strength moves which seem to wear me out quicker. I'm definately sore the next day! That is why I'm taking at least one day a week off.

Re: above - sorry I meant to quote this one for my above post

I started yesterday with level one, doubles. That is I repeat the circuits twice so it is a 40 minute workout. I feel like once I get to the end of the first set of circuits (all 3) I am already warm so doing another round is somehow easier if that makes sense. Plus it is double the calorie burn. Today I did level 2,…

Hello everyone. Well this is my first challenge and I've been losing and gaining the same 5 lbs for the last year and I'm so over that! I really need the push and motivation to stick with with something regardless of what the scale says. Usually if I don't see any results I give up. I've tried P90X for 9 weeks and ended up…

I use Danskin Now size 38D. I got it at Walmart and I run, do plyometrics and it keeps me secure and comfortable.
