  • I agree, vanilla is more versitale. But do some research as Consumer Reports dinged a few brands for having excess amounts of heavy metals. Muscle milk was one of the brands that didn't perform to well in that area.
  • Suck it up. YOu're an adult. Veggies won't kill you. So let me get this straight, the texture of a perfectly crisp apple turns you off?
  • Plain water? Zero. My liquid intake comes from way too much diet pepsi, and my post workout drink.
  • Power 90 if you're coming straight off the couch. If you've been workoing out for a while and want to take things to the next level, then P90X. IF you do P90X, do the Classic version. Forget the Lean nonsense.
  • You're kind of right. Being that former wrestler, slthough a few years removed she had a muscle base to work with. Jeremy on the other hand was just 400 pounds of fat. The guy had no muscle to begin with. Don't get me wrong, the guy lost 199 pounds which is awesome, but he still lookes like he could lose another 30. that…
  • If you're relying on a bunch of processed "vegan" foods, not sure how much of a benefit it is. As an expirement, went vegan for 3 weeks. Didn't miss meat but felt making better choices and limiting the amount of meat my family did eat was a better option for me. Not sure it's really any healthier. I was eating tons of…
  • I make the same thing for my wife and kids that I eat. Usually that means they don't get things I don't like, such as sweet potatoes. Kids get a pass on very few items, Mushrooms being one. My wife and I love things like Brussel Sprouts, and asparagus. Kids have to eat those, not a huge portion but enough. I eat healthy…
  • You're female on a calorie reduced diet, you can lift all you want. All you'll do is tone and tighten those muscles, which is what you want, no fear of developing 20 inch biceps. That being said, if you still have lots of fat on your arms, it's still going to jiggle no matter what you do until you get rid of the fat.
  • The circuit training nature of the reistance days is what burns the fat. The cardio is just there to get your heart into shape.
  • Classic without a doubt. Tony Horton himself would tell you the same. You can lose weight doing P90X. I have and so have others. Classic is the way to go!! Everyone says its designed to build muscle, but that's not the case. It's designed to get you ripped and it does that by shedding fat. The women I know that do P90X,…
  • I didn't have to borrow a cent. My parent's and I paid the whole bill. If there's loan forgiveness, then I need at least 25 cents on every dollar in tuition and room and board I paid.
  • Can't think of a good reason at the moment. I've told her many a time that she can wake me up from a sound sleep at 2 am if she wants it.
  • I can't wee to see some of the responses to that statement.
  • That may be true, but It gives me some nice peanut butter flavor added to my chocolate protein for 1/4 of the calories.
  • 6 homemade Turkey meatballs. 410 calories, 52g protein, 21g Fat 6g Carbs
  • Got dragged to the Cheesecake Factory recently with my wife but was surprised to find they had a Light menu. About Time!!!
  • Being from Chicago most people comment on Al Capone. Come on, that was 90 years ago, we're all about corrupt politicians now people. Tim
  • the budget friendly option is 30 Day Shred ot Ripped in 30. My wife's doing the 30DS and it's under $10 at Target. Pros, the price Cons, only three routines the more pricey options are ChaLean Extreme, Turbo Fire, P90X, Insanity from Beachbody. Pros, Comprehensive workout programs with multiple routines to prevent…
  • It's mostly high glycemic carbs for a reason.
  • I've used it from day one and absolute love it. However the benefit is a mix of Carbs and a little protein after a workout. Certainly recommend some sort of recovery drink afterwards. chocolate milk is good in pinch. It has the right ratio of carbs to protein.
  • To be expcted, Just keep pluggin away. Two weeks into my first round of P90x I was up about 5 pounds. Was killing myself with workouts and the scale was going up. My muscles were in shock retaining fluid to repair themselves. I knew that I was doing this for the longterm and just kept at it. I dropped 16 pounds the first…
  • Just had that for breakfast. IT is good stuff.
  • Go look at your breakfast and tell me how you can have an omelette of two whole eggs without any protein? I think part of the problem is you have no macros entered for your homemade omelette. tim
  • I love the Elite Gourmet stuff. Bought a bag of powder from costco, made by muscle milk but called something else, and it has a metallic smella to it. Shouldn't have bought it. I think MM got low marks for the heavy metals in their powder.
  • Brad Pitt in Fight Club!
  • I think generally people see the weight loss as a success but then hopefully they take the next step to realize that all that food that fits into their calorie plan is actually lacking in nutirents and just basically garbage.
  • Personally I wouldn't drink fruit juice for the reasons you;ve stated. It's basically sugar water. A 12 ounce can of coca cola has 39g of, look at the label of what you just drank to see how it compares. Probably pretty close. Contrary to popular belief, sugar from an apple is primarily sucrose, which is table sugar. An…
  • P90X2 P.A.P. Upper - First time for this workout so we'll see how it goes.
  • Everyone in my family eats the same thing at dinner time, well rounded balanced meals. We eat lean meat and green veggies every night. And yes, my kids eat brussel sprouts and asparagus. they don't have a choice. the difference is I weigh everything I eat so that I know exactly how much i'm eating.
  • I love it mixed with Chocolate protein powder, but any other way I've tried it I think it's pretty gross. Guess I just can't get used to the texture without the fat, but mixed in liquids it's awesome.
