Like most of his show, he completely tries to dumb things down. . Most people hate to count calories and these "rules" are a way to attempt to limit your calories without actually counting them. I'll stick with tracking calories and maintaining my macros within a defined range.

Weigh yourself the same time of the day on the days you do step on the scale. As a point of reference, I can easily have my weight drop 5 pounds overnight, especially If I've had alot of water or other fluids to drink in the evening. Tim

If your protein goal is the 15 % set by MFP, you can eat more protein than that.

I too was unaware of any "requirement"! Drink when you're thirsty, that's what I do.

My advice is not to do the LEAN. Do the classic version. P90X was designed that way. You're results with the Classic version will blow away anything you get from doing the LEAN!!

On the resistance days your're probably fine to continue to run. The day you do Plyo, I'd think twice about running. In my opinion that would be overkill.

The problem with using Hex DBs is that that can roll on you when you go wide. Push up stands generally have the bar higher so you can go deeper for a bigger range of motion. Just get stands with a wide base, preferable round. Didn't like the perfect pushup ones, the best I found are the power Stands from Beachbody.

Enjoy! Push yourself but don't be afraid to take breaks when you need it. Even those in the video have to stop once in a while. Just try to keep the breaks a short as possible and get back into it.

For me meds would not be an option. Based on all the research i've done, Statins (Lipitor being one) have not been proven to increase life expectancy execpt in men under 70 and with pre-existing heart. They didn't even do a study on women so why are women taking this drug when there is no proof it makes them live longer.…

I rely on chicken breast, eggs and tuna. The sodium in the tuna bums me out a bit but worth the trade off. As a guy, I find it hard to get much more than 40% of my calories from protein without using something liek whey protein powder, but that's when I'm trying to ingest well over 200g a day of protein

Sometime in April after I finish my first round of P90X2, I plan to get dunked and get a more accurate BF% than I'm getting with Calipers now. Would like to be sub 10%. Calipers have me around 8% which I just can't be right. Tim
