P90X is about working muscles in isolation. Think Tricep Kickbacks. P90X2 is incorporating the entire body in the movement so Tricep kickbacks in plank with 1 arm on a stability ball. Tim

I don't eat that many yolks due to the fat. As for the cholesterol issue, there are studies on both sides of the fence on this one. Firm beleiver that cholesterol levels are mainly hereditary. I pay no mind to cholesterol in my diet and my HDL and LD are fantastic, but that's me. Tim

If you're trying to get 120g of protein you shouldn't need to use any protein supplements. That can be done with whole foods like chicken breast, tuna, egg, whites.

Group motivation is the only way I was able to do it. So improtant to talk with those that have done it before and know where all the struggles are. As well as those going through the same things so you know you're not alone.

I'm just finishing up Phase 1 this week. It just rips your core to shreds. Kind of brings back the memories of my first round of P90X. I was pretty out of shape and it was brutal, but I just kept pushing play every day and before I knew it, I had done 6 rounds in 2 years.

Agreed, you'll only get out of it what you put in. It's not a program to be done half heartedly. If you decide to do it, please do the Classic Routine, don't mess with the Lean version. Tim

Pineapple or strawberries. No matter how good a food is for you, if you have to choke it down it's probably not going to be a part of your nutritional intake long term. Feel the same way about Quinoa, horrible. MAybe be good for me but won't eat something that tastes that awful. Tim

Plain yogurt of any kind is horrible to me. Wouldn't eat it on a dare. I eat Chobani with fruit everyday though. Can't stand the watered down over sweetened regular yogurt anymore.

Totally depends Some days its a 600 plus calorie breakfast others its dinner. It's never lunch though.

Meat. 45 grams of protein for the entire day? 15% is just too low in my opinion.

I think that being new to doing compund lifts you'd be wise to start out light to learn proper form. Deadlifts and Squats done with heavy weight and poor form aren't beneficial. Once proper form is learned then you can add weight.

Never tried Herbalife. Been using Shakeology for a good year. It's not marketed or designed as a protein supplement. It has equaly ratio of carbs and protein. Doing my 6th round of P90X, actually a P90X/Insanity hybrid and have been drinking shakeology for about a year. Only drink it about 4 times a week, have backed off from every like I had before.

YEP. The sucrose, in an apple or in a little white packet you pour into your coffee, is still sucrose.
