I eat a Clif Builders bar for my afternoon snack every day. They're nearly 100% organic, and helps with the sweet tooth. Not the best source of protein. I can get the same amount in 4 ounces of chicken without any of the fat and carbs.

Losing weight and simultaneously bulking up is kind of an oxymoron. To lose weight you need to be at a caloric defecit. To Bulk up means to do the exact opposite. Sucrose, or table sugar, is one of the sugars found in fruit. Regardless if it comes from a package or from a banana it is still the same chemical compound and processed by your body in exactly the same way. Not saying fruit is bad in any way, just that the sugar is the same.

Depends what your goals are. Turbo Fire and Insnaity are cardio workouts. P90X is a more comprehensive program combining cardio, resistrance training and stretching/Yoga.

Do at least the first 45 minutes, that's the toughest part. Then I'd say you could skip towards the end for the AB work, Yoga Belly 7 and final stretch.

Fruit is very high in sugar. Some more than others. Try to swap out some fruit for vegetables Don't be too "fooled" by the natural sugar in fruit. It contains the same sucrose that's in regular table sugar, along with other sugars such as glucose and frustose. Tim

Regardless of how much body fat you have, if you properly engage any muscle it will be worked. Most ab routines tend to be high rep so maybe focus on that. Also I occasionally press my abs with my fingers to feel them being engaged so try that to make shure you're working them.

Which Insanity workout? I"m male and 180 pounds and I burn well over 600 calories doing something like Pure Cardio, so I'd go with the higher number

Do the Classic version not the Lean. The program was designed as the Classic version and that is where you'll get your best results. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LIFT WEIGHTS!

I"m kind of in the same boat but at about 180 just trying to get to 175. I lift 3X and cardio 2X and I just bumped my calories to 2,400 from 2,100. the weight loss had stalled and I was starving all the time so I figured i needed more food. If there are days where you're working our 2X, 1,900 won't cut it.

I've seen some of the workouts online and they look decent enough. It is more affordable than P90X, that being said the money I spent on P90X is the best fitness related investment I have ever made!

I've had a couple people I know use it prior to weight ifting workouts and they prefer it over some of the others on the market like Jack3d or N.O. Explode.

Going to be tough to bulk up with a caloric defecit. Look at more calorie dense foods. Nuts or avacado have healthy fats. Also drink some calories, but healthy one such as protein shakes. You can easily add a few hundred calories with two scoops a protein powder and some milk.

Totally agree, you have to WANT IT! At 214 I couldn't even do one pushup. I'm now finishing my 5 round and am 180. Just commit and do it.

I love it mixed in with either chocolate protein powder or Shakeology but as a straight up substitute for the real stuff , like in a PB and J sandwhich, not so much.

You should research the difference between Fructose,the primary sugar in fruit. It's also the primary sugar in honey as well. The basic issue with it is this.
