A blood pressure reading of 222/1xx flipped my switch. Congratulations on the milestone.

Averaged 11521 per day over the last month. Using a Mi Band 2.

Don't know the intent of the button but it does give an indication of how much of difference seemingly small changes in diet or exercise can make. It once spurred me to take a nice evening walk after noticing the difference in projected weight on a day I had not logged any exercise.

Thanks for the links, they do not verify the "constantly" claim but are enlightening all the same.

I can tie my shoes and breathe, at the same time.

I'll take a Bell's Two Hearted for the win.

For the first time since I began a daily log my blood sugar and pressure readings were in the normal range. :) I am taking meds for the bp but if the downward trend continues that could change.

I log my weight along with temperature and blood pressure glucose and oxygen levels each morning. Average systolic down six points with 26 lbs lost. Yay, data. :)

I eat whole egg to honor the chicken that made the sacrifice. ;)

You're welcome. Hope it proves as useful to her as it has me. BTW, I got curious after the above post and downloaded Polar's phone app(Polar Beat) and the Coospo works with it as well. PB has a nice interface, perhaps a worthy alternative to Endomondo. Further testing is needed but if PB's voice updates are on par with…

A use a Coospo H6(budget brand) strap style HRM. Coupled with the Endomondo app it has worked very well for me. Near as I can tell it is comparable to the Polar branded monitors, can even use the polar replacement straps. Though I've only used the Bluetooth capabilities, the Coospo is supposedly ANT+ compliant. I saved…

Good thread. I have compiled many of these quotes into a JavaScript randomizer and am using it as my internet start page.

Pop Tarts. First look....200 calories....not bad. Closer look....serving size, one pastry....awww mannnn....why two per package if one is a serving. :s On the positive side, Miracle Whip is only 40 calories per one tablespoon serving. Even more surprising was a weighed tablespoon turned out to be a tad more than I would…

Cauliflower is good. I sometimes sprinkle on a few grams of grated parmesan to change up the flavor and add a tad more protein.

Received my Mi Band 2 just last week. It has spurred me to walk a little more. 10/18 - 11047

While lollygagging on MFP, I missed on an eight foot tissue toss attempt. A few minutes later without thinking, I bent at the knees and squatted to the floor to retrieve the tissue. Just a few weeks ago I would have took a deep breathe, bent at the waist and likely grunted to accomplish the same task.

I just received the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 It is a low budget alternative to the better known fitness tracking wearables with most of the features. It may never get direct integration with MFP but an easy workaround is to link the Mi Band with Google fit which you can link to MFP. Personally I just manually log my cardio…

Add some greens, 100 grams of spinach is only 23 calories and nutrient dense.

Sounds like fun. I've registered.

Queen Anne Cordial Cherries. Delicious high calorie sugar bombs. I have a really hard time putting those up and forgetting about them.

We do a potluck style Thanksgiving dinner so accurate logging isn't possible. I plan to log breakfast then add 5,000 calories for the entire evenings delicacies.

One month but I went from a 250lb dedicated couch potato to eating 1500 calories and walking 3-5 miles six days per week.

Congrats. I'm hot on your heels at 30.2%.
