I cut myself some slack when PMT/PMS stage. I also realise I eat a lot more which motivates me to move more. I exercise during cramps because it helps get rid of them (weird but true) One slower work out is still better than none. Listen to your body x

30 day shred dvd jillian Michael's. Combine it with a calorie deficit and you'll lose weight, feel fitter and have a new hatred for that woman 😂

Fit for my 30th (which is a year away but it's the goal) Mini one is to feel a bit sexier for valentines day And I've got a hot tub lodge weekend booked in April with some friends and would like to feel a bit better in myself for that

I understand this 100%. Drink water between meals to keep you fuller and when you've finished your last meal, brush your teeth. Brushing my teeth signals to my brain it's almost time for bed, as it's a bedtime routine. Plus I hate the aftertaste of mint if I eat.

Once a week officially, to log my weight. Might step on twice a week to see how it's going. If I weighed daily I'd get so frustrated at not seeing the scale move, I used to do this and didn't enjoy it. Plus one week of the month my weight goes up a bit even after a calorie deficit

Thanks guys! Will use the calculator, and compare to MFP

You can do this!! Just remember it's a marathon not a sprint to weight loss. I have the jeans issue, which is why jeggings are currently my best friend! 😂 Honestly can't remember the last time I wore of button up jeans. I did the 30 day shred dvd before joining the gym which really helped as a fitness dvd x

A few things, if you're running 4 miles or more a day you need to eat more. 2lbs overnight could be water, could be hormones, could be a period, could be the scales. None of that will matter if you don't have a better relationship with food, with your body and with eating. 800 calories isn't even enough for my child a day!

Well done OP for trying to be more ethical. Last year I was veggie and making vegan choices where possible. I don't drink milk anymore, and since eating meat again, I try and make better choices. I don't always make the right choices, and sometimes I'll have a milkshake, but that's life, no one is perfect. Even baby steps…

Poached eggs and avocado on toast with sweet chilli sauce. My absolute fav breakfast meal atm

It's a treat, you're not doing it daily so just use MFP and search the foods you're having based on a generic food establishment. I know the feeling as the steak place Im going for valentines has no calories on their website x

Yes!!!!!! I didn't realise how much 30gs of cheese was until I weighed it 😭😭

Thanks guys!! :D

I used to be a January newbie!! And now in going back after a month off in January 😂 Like everyone else has said, try and go on days/times when it will be less busy and by February it might be less busy x

Single and rocking it ❤️

I also have temporal lobe epilepsy! Taking lamotrigine too. This was really helpful to read thank you! I'm usually good at reading my body but I can see the sudden drop in calories is very significant (especially over Christmas where I probably ate more) Will approach it a bit slower and make sure I'm more hydrated because…

I didn't give up after 3 days like I usually do, I'm still here, still drinking a ridiculous amount of water and listening to my body when I feel hungry

How is this post still going???

Oh my god keppra was the most horrific drug for me! So glad it works for you.

It's usually a 6 month waiting list to be seen by my neurologist, so just going off doctors reccomendation. Fingers crossed it was just a blip and slightly dehydrated 🤞
-
Read that this morning after doing research. I think it might be linked. Usually just a jolt to the system from binging lots of chocolate to suddenly cutting it all out
-
Neurologist Reccomended keto as it has lots of scientific proof to back it up but made it worse for me :(
-
Gin.... Okay so it's a liquid but still I wish it was calorie free 😂

I understand COMPLETELY. I also lost my job this year in October and felt like nothing was worth getting up for. It's hard but keep giving yourself a reason to go for a walk, go to the gym or exercise as it really will help you feel better. Plaster a wall with motivational quotes, keep a diary and acknowledge your bad days…

I found I was happy being able to squeeze into a size 14 pair of jeans before I had reached my goal weight. Now I'd like to for back into those jeans, and then continue to lose and maybe even squeeze into a size 12!! 😲
-
Oh what a great goal! I'm 30 next year too, would love to reach my goal by then. Keep tracking and weighing your food, keep moving and recognise that bad days happen, but its not the end of the world :)

This is me!! Over the last couple of years I lost really well, but when I slipped up, it was always in the evening after a busy day and I just wanted to binge watching telly. Usually something sweet. I started off throwing away all chocolate and sweet things, but it made it worse. I had to train my mind to acknowledge that…

You can do this! I can totally understand the diabetes risk, its one of my motivations. If its soda, try the diet versions or drink fizzy water. Just remember not to limit the foods you are *allowed* Just make them fit into your calories for the day. And just move more. Take the stairs, walk round the block, anything will…

Obviously like it's dependant on what people consider cheat meals. Cause ill eat pizza but fit it into my daily calories and don't consider that cheat. To me a cheat meal is usually going out for dinner with the boyfriend and not counting the calories and just enjoying life ❤️
