 ^^ Glad that worked for you!

Yes, I do realize I also need to make good, clean food choices and eat my allotted calories. Sounds like it worked for you Sara! Good job.. I am just desperate for something to work... all the regular watch what I eat and exercise is not cutting it for this hypothyroid/menopausal body so hoping to shake things up a bit.

Thanks all! My main concern was pre-tracking I was not getting enough calories so I would like to have a basis to go by.
-
Rybo, have you had good weight loss success?
-
Of note, I do limit carbs and work out 6 days a week, running every other day and doing weight training the other days. Perhaps age has something to do with it... All I know is I am beyond frustrated with my lack of progress.

Regarding my thyroid, as my levels are "normal", the doctors do not want to do anything with my dosing although I still have symptoms and weight gain... they do not understand there is a difference between "normal" and optimal and they are only interested in TSH value, not the other values... very unfortunate for sure.

I am aware of what it is... I am basically interested on those who have tried it and their thoughts. I am desperate as I have been struggling with hypothyroidism and no matter what I do I gain... I read the science on it and it seems reasonable, just curious if anyone has had success.

Can I join in here?? I will be 50 in August... eeeekkk!! Anyway, I am hypothyroid so not only have I not been able to lose successfully but have been gaining. I need to try something ! I just started this yesterday. Just started tracking calories today!
