Hmmm... Do I know you? lol

^^^ Me, too. It was pretty uneventful for me. I might have had 2 or 3 hot flashes, but I lived in south Texas so who could tell?

Here's another embedded in the Turkey Shepherd's Pie recipe. I like to roast the cauliflower for extra flavor. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/798311-recipe-turkey-shepherd-s-pie-w-roasted-cauliflower-parm

Fantastic! Thank you SOOOO much!

Actually, they're made from a sort of Japanese root vegetable resembling yams, but you would NEVER guess that. Here's a thread on it: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/778420-best-new-thing-in-the-world-shirataki-noodles

Anybody wanna be friends? Raise your hand and send a friend request!

No, they're not mushy. They have a little bite the way calamari does. But I find that once they're tossed with all kinds of goodies, you can't even tell they're not regular noodles.

I got a bunch of great jeans at TJ Maxx, and some perfectly perfect black slacks for work at Target! Who'da thunk it? ;c) I'm also a gigantic fan of shopping for jackets and tops on ebay. As long as you know your size in a brand/style, it's a great way to go. Just be sure to shop for "New" or "New With Tags" (NWT)!

Hi Tricia, I'm doing something similar. I'm going to let my weeks away be "reset" weeks -- eating at around maintenance -- and then cut back hard after New Year's to get it going again. Let us know how it works for you!

Those are your real numbers, so you don't add anything extra.

That's great! But if you had a piece of pie, my point is, you don't need to beat yourself up or think you'd blown all your hard work. But I absolutely agree that making a plan -- whatever that is -- and sticking to it for the holidays is the way to go.

Looks like you love candy! Some days you're eating ~30% of your total calories in candy bars. That sugar will kick your butt! Higher protein, lower refined sugar & carbs will almost certainly help. Good luck! ;c)
