Yes I eat back most of mine. It has never stopped or slowed my weight loss in the past, so I'll continue to do so.

feel free to add me, pretty active

38 in 3 weeks, I have two more years! I promised myself to be in the best shape and health I've ever been by the time I was 40! We can do it!!

[/quote] Agree. I'm 5'3 and was 220 lbs when I started the Couch to 5k program. I was very very slow, had to repeat some of the weeks. People walked faster than my run, lol. But I didn't care, I wanted to accomplish it for myself. And I did!!! I'm 182 lbs now and getting ready for my first 10k run.

Thank you!!!! Training for my first ever 10k at the end of Oct.
-
I do Strong Lifts, slightly modified right now though as I'm training for a 10k run. But I found it to be pretty good, you can also add more accessory work if needed.
-
Yay, more friends! :drinker: I'll check out that group, see if it's for me

Being uncomfortable in clothes!!! Ugh, has to be the worst feeling for me!

Make sure your calories/macro goals are correct. If you measure your portions using cups and spoons, may be time to invest in a food scale to get more accurate measurements.

I've done one 5k race and it was horrible, I didn't plan well or train. I think that is partly why I'm nervous. Since then I have been running on a regular basis and a 5k is very doable for me with no issue. You'll do great on your 10k and half!!!! Have fun!

Hi all! I'm on the last leg of this weight loss thing and it seems to be the hardest part, ugh!!! Well I'm looking for some cool MFP peeps to join me in losing weight, getting fit, and kicking butt! I log just about every single day and trying to keep my diary open, lol. I used to have it private but seeing how it works…
-
I'm inspired by all your runs! Especially seeing how you all build on distance, so awesome!
-
I'm 5'3 down from 244 to now 182. Trying to lose the last 40 or so lbs. I'm also looking for motivated buddies who log regularly for accountability!!!

Yes, it's a total mental game. I'm trying to overcome that, hopefully I will through the next few weeks. I'm excited now! Who listens to music during your race? Do you eat? My race is 7 AM, I usually run well fasting but wondering since it's longer distance if I should eat something.

^^I'm sorry to hear you got some negative feedback :( I feel soo much more confident after reading everyone's post here!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

0-5k was so hard for me, I was totally Couch to 5k. I struggled so much to run 30 seconds without dying, burning painful legs, struggling to breathe. I do have to remember where I am now. It's comforting to hear that it won't be as hard. I've really come to love running.

I think you're right, I'm thinking only as needing to DOUBLE my distance, lol. I need to stop that and just go day by day.
-
Inspiring!

Thanks!

I totally get it, and agree. But it's not everyone's goal to be healthy, sadly. They just want to lose weight, have gainz, and eat whatever they want while doing it. It is totally possible to do that too, just not very wise in my personal opinion. All I do is care for people who've neglected their health. It's a very scary…

Take pictures!!! Doing this helped me notice more lifting and tightening then I thought was going on, lol. Hang in there, you're on the right track!
-
That also happened to me at first. I guess I was expecting to be a lot smaller when I lost 30-40 lbs. I DID lose inches just not as much as I was thinking, and it sounds like you did also. Don't get discouraged!!! Your clothes are starting to loosen up on your, you're slowly shrinking. It's a slow process for sure but well…
-
Haha, congrats! :drinker: I did the same and finally made it down to my DL weight. Now trying to pass it.
-
Reminds me where I came from and where I'm headed, so yes! 244 to 182 so far....
-
Baja style Mexican food, I eat pretty often. I also avoid fried or creamy dishes.
-
I get like that when I eat too little calories or my Fat intake is low. We need those fats, helps regulate our hormones.
-
Yes, I eat back between 50%-100% of them depending on how hungry I am that day.
-
I say YES!!! Us Mom's need all the help we can get, lol. If doesn't effect your family in any negative way, then why not?!?

I'm in for accountability!
