  • It's a nice problem to have. I'd stop when I felt great and was comfortable in some really nice clothes., I'd stop when people told me it was time to stop. Then I'd try to maintain it. The last time I got skinny I still thought I was fat. I kept trying to get skinny. I made myself ill and got fat again.
  • It sounds like you're having a very tough time with a lot of stuff going on. In scuba diving there's a thing we do when it feels like things are out of control... or might get that way. It's "STOP, breathe, think, act." It works on land too. Anyone who judges you based on your weight is not worth being around anyway.…
  • You'll drive yourself crazy if you weigh yourself every day. Your weight fluctuates a lot. I try to not weigh myself more than every two weeks.
  • There's a lot of great advice on here and a lot of great people willing to help. When you find the right groove you will know it. Your body will let you know. You will feel great. If you're feeling sluggish and tired you are doing something wrong. Keep some notes about what you eat and and drink and how it makes you feel.…
  • Is there, like, a chart? I would hate to eat a green apple if what I really needed was a red one.
  • I might not open it. I would be worried that it was just nasty. Draw a little flower or smiley face on the outside or something. It would not trouble me at all to get a love letter from my ex. It would not happen because there are no feelings either way... we remain friends. Feelings usually go both ways. If you still have…

  • Scales are not a great measure of weight loss in my opinion. It is probably water weight that you gained. I weigh myself only if I feel my clothing is looser. If I lose a quarter of an inch off my neck measurement then I know that I have lost weight. Once upon a time I'd weigh myself twice a day and it used to drive me…
  • I've never been much for dogma of any kind. I try to take the bits and pieces that make sense for me and discard the rest. Everyone has different needs. Life-style plays such an important role in the thing that I don't see how a "system" could ever solve everyone's problems. It seems to me that if you are moving all day…
  • I have (had) a Fitbit. I've had two of them within about five weeks, actually. They really helped me a lot. I loved them. They are very fragile though. You need to protect it from perspiration which is pretty absurd given what the thing is for. The terminals corrode very quickly and it will die after a couple of weeks. I…

  • I'd saute some tomatoes and scallions with a little basil in a tablespoon of ghee. You could throw some squash in there too.
  • I don't know the reasoning behind the MFP thing but I try to do 40 p, 40 c, 20 f.
  • I would throw the phone out the window.
  • Four stones is fantastic. If you can lose that much a silly little wall should present no problem for you at all. You are a super-hero.... Just blast through it and give Starbucks the finger.
  • It's a choice. What people choose is their business. Which means it is none of yours. Unless, of course, you are a vegetable.
  • No. Ask away. But signal your intention before you actually ask though so he knows what's coming. Otherwise he might get confused and say something dumb then regret it afterwards.
  • Feel free to add me. I will help you as much as I can. The whole calorie thing is a mystery though. It looks like I am over by a couple of hundred but my net calories are only 850 or something like that. I should really eat more.
  • There are some fantastic transformations here. You ladies have done so well. You look wonderful.
  • IMHO, whatever weight makes you feel happy and the most comfortable is the right weight for you. You could always look into having a boob job if you felt they got too small.
  • I don't think it really matters for the purposes of this thing. I found it pretty interesting to learn how people have moved around from country to country. I certainly wasn't confused. I do not think they were either. They were pretty clear about their nationality AND their ethnicity.
  • My day was Saturday too.
  • When I was working out to lose fat AND build muscle I had a free day each week. I do not think you undo anything let alone a week's worth of work. My body benefited from it.
  • What's that stuff that comes out the back of a horse, again?
  • To all these anti gun folks. Please remember... your lifestyle might not require that you have a gun. Mine does. A gun is a tool. No different than a screw driver. I have no neighbors. A 911 call means a 20 minute wait. There are all kinds of dangerous animals around here. The most dangerous of which is man. Eighty seven…
  • Thank you for that. Back to topic... I favor a Mossberg riot shotgun for beside the bed and in the house. The projectiles will not pass through your walls.
  • I like a Walther PP 380 caliber. 380 is a short 9. The gun is small and light. It does not have a ton of recoil so you can stay on target as you fire. It takes a laser sight nicely which is useful for bang-free practice with snap-shooting.
  • Wow... really great build. Big guns.
  • I do. He's a really good doctor. He'll probably die before me but that is his business.
