If you have CP then maybe you are right your body just is not wired to run. Do the cardio exercises that you are best at. as long as your pulse is in the zone, then you are getting a good work-out. I actually do 80% elliptical 20% running, but I lose weight way faster with running.

Most of the time I run I want to quit after 3 minutes but then I tell myself 'make it 5 minutes' then I tell myself 'you already did 10% of the run, and I always finish.... but this happens all the time. and I stretch out for about 15 minutes before as well. I guess the more you do it the more your body adjusts.

2.5 hours working out is really 'in the zone' awesome! I think if you add in your workout calories and eat back half you will be fine and in a few months in really good shape. Your endurance and strength will increase for sure. do some cardio on your days at home. Good luck!

I am a fan of the twice a day work-outs. I do my cardio during the day and lifting in the evening. mostly because of time and also because it gives you a good rest. My rest period is my 8 hour job that always cuts short my workouts, darn it!!

60 minutes elliptical. I did P90x - the first 2 videos, but I need to lose 15-20 more pounds before I seriously do P90x!! Right now I am all about cardio. I try to powerlift on the major exercises once a week, ex, squats, bench, back- but if I have the energy after cardio!

If it was me I would not miss out on social events. Just 'think it out' if you know you will probably go out then eat very light during the day and do extra cardio. So a few times a week is no big deal.
