I have one that has been told to lose weight. She weighs in at almost 14 lbs, but she is tiny. She should be in the 8-9 lbs for her size. I was told to switch to high protein food or even kitten food (higher protein than normal weight loss food) as that will help her to keep full. I was also told to let her have treats…

I actually take the makeup off when I go to the gym straight from work. If I do my workout before getting ready for work, then I don't have any on to get all smeared and sweaty.

Would you be able to create a visible barrier between the kitchen and the room downstairs? Would anybody object to a curtain hung on a tension rod in the doorway so that you cannot see the kitchen while you are on your computer? Or would it work to turn your back to the kitchen. (Out of sight, out of mind?)

You will have to work hard to get into the habit of logging your exercise, food and beverages. It is very hard to keep up with it at first, but as you start seeing progress, you will start finding out what works for you, what doesn't work, and what your triggers for slipping back to your old habits are. The scale won't always change quickly. For as long as I have been at this, the scale is the LAST thing to move for me. It took about a month, but the first thing I noticed that while the scale was stubborn, the clothes were saying another story. They were getting looser, the belt had to be sinched tighter and I no longer…

I, too, deal with hypothyroidism. It makes the path to our goals twice as long, twice as hard and twice as frustrating as we deal with it. Even when the hormone is balanced with medication, the sluggish memory is created.

They could be cluster headaches. They are similar to migranes, get really bad, ebb off but not go away and then get worse, in the cycle that will end when it will end. They also seem to be focused in an area, but when they peak, it hurts in more spots. They can last for a long time and make life miserable. I hope she finds…
