Thank you!! I am so glad you shared this! I was looking for a new protein bar! All my gluten free ones (Kind bars, etc.) had milk or soy in them! I knew there had to be something out there! I also love the unsweetened vanilla almond milk. The other day I bought some gluten free crackers (crunchmaster brand) and didn't even…

You pegged it with the estrogen!! I am estrogen dominant. I have a follow up appt this week & I am going to double clarify this again! =)

I am also on my first week of a dairy free life. I was tested last week & found to be dairy intolerant. My Dr. also does not want me to substitute with soy. So far I am doing okay but overall this process is hard and frustrating. I spent an hour at the grocery store yesterday reading labels. I didn't realize I would have…

I am with ya!! I have been on this journey for over a year & FINALLY lost 25lbs. I also have an underactive thyroid & it seriously feels like I have to work twice as hard with minimal results. I am currently at a state of major frustration and feel like I just want to be comfortable with what I have lost thus far & throw…

I just did the same...this book & Bible study made an amazing difference in my life. I must say my workouts & healthy eating were amplified so much by spending time in His word & sharing with my christian girlfriends. Highly recommended!!

I seriously needed to see this!! I have been in a 2 month plateau and it is so incredibly frustrating! It already took a long time for the first 25lbs to come off. I am definitely going to look into this! Thanks so much!!

I am so glad you posted this as I am interested in everyone's answers as well. I also have hypothyroidism (& Hashimoto's) & for several years it has kept me fatigued. A little over a year ago, I changed all that and started a healthy lifestyle of eating and exercising. My problem is that it is V-E-R-Y slow to lose weight.…

Congrats! Who cares if it was a 16 minute mile --- YOU DID IT!!! I am also trying to be a runner! For some reason I love running even though I suck at it. Yesterday I also ran 2 miles...I kept telling myself that I can't stop...I also somehow had a faster time! I am also someone who has been slow to loose weight. I have…

Congrats!! That's what I did...started with Turbo Jam and then went to Turbo Fire. I absolutely LOVE Turbo Fire. Did you start it yet? It seems so fast at first but you will get used to it! In fact, I can't go back and do Turbo Jam because I think it is too slow now. Any tips would be just keep going...even if you think…

I also have a Gluten intolerence & it has been difficult for me to find breads, etc. I tried Schar brand which is kept on the regular store shelf and it was very dry & unswallowable. I finally realized that the other gluten free bread is in the freezer section. I have now tried Ezekiel & I absolutely love it! I actually…

Awesome results!!! =) Love your positive attitude too! I just started week 7 & I'm seeing great results as well! Can't wait to see the end result!
-
Awesome job!!! You are totally inspiring me because our start weight is the same (actually I started 1lb heavier) & my current goal weight is where you have made it to! I'm also short, 5'4"! Congrats!!! =)

Tausha, I think your current plan of exercising & being on MFP DOES go along great with the program!!! The program plan is suggested to maximize results but trust me...just doing an exercise (ANY exercise) is better than none & will keep you in the right direction! Plus you did lose 5lbs! Doing the "EZ" workouts are really…

Thanks for the advice. I am also keeping track of my measurements AND I really have noticed a big change in the bagginess of my pants! =) I agree with the age thing...now that I'm in my 30's it is much harder to loose and I just keep reminding myself that it took 7 years for me to put this much weight on so it's not going…

Ha ha ha! I totally noticed that too! I did HIIT 20 again tonight and at a part where Chalene was saying to save your energy that girl was jumping wild! I wanted to tell her to simmer down! I am a friends junkie and that is hilarious to compare it to the Phoebe running episode! lol!

I have not tried the weighted gloves; however, I hope to move up to that someday! I love Monica on the Turbo Fire video...she makes the moves & using weighted gloves look too easy! ;-)

I am in week 4 of TF & loving it!!! I am also on a 1400 calorie per day diet! I also struggle with actually seeing the scale move! In February it will be my 1 year anniversary of consistently working out & overall throughout the entire year I've only seen the scale go down about 20lbs over all. I tend to get really down…

Shoes with pivot points would be awesome! I'll have to check out the NB 871's! I did buy a pair of shoes...adizero tempos. I hate them (for TF at least)! They are good workout shoes in general for every other workout except TF! When I am up on my toes they kill my feet. I've been back to working out barefoot, which also…

I also do not rest on "rest" days! I have to keep myself moving 7 days a week. Occasionally, if we have something special planned I skip a day, but it's rare (last skip day was Christmas due to family time). This is my first week of Turbo Fire but on my rest day I redid the Fire 30 new to class session to more familiarize…

Awesome! Thanks!!!

Week 1, day 4...loving it!!!

I am right there with ya! I have a 6 year old & 2 year old and can usually get them to eat about anything; however, my husband does not believe in vegetables (well, he likes corn & potatoes)! I also really need to work on my food because sometimes it is just easier to eat the "junk" I make him rather than cooking 4 or so…

Yes & Yes. It does say that if you have knee concerns this may not be the workout for you.

I just got TF for Christmas & started yesterday. Did my HIIT 15 class this morning...I was crawling across the floor afterwards! ;-) BUT I feel awesome right now!!! I also felt like I needed to add to the workout so I did the 20 minute trusty standby Turbo Jam & I was wondering why it was going so sloooow....lol! Can't…

AGREED!!! I told my hubby that all I want is TurboFire & a heart rate monitor!!! =)

Sometimes I like to take a piece of 12 grain bread & spread natural peanut butter & hazelnut spread; however, my new found peanut butter love is the PB2...it's a lower calorie & fat. Check it out at http://www.bellplantation.com/ Also, I do love nuts...I buy those planters boxes that already have the nuts in baggies so I…

Thanks for all the advice thus far! I appreciate it! I do not drink any pop...only water...but I can surely up it! I think I might check into the DASH diet because I do have high blood pressure! But I am also enlightened on eating your exercise calories! It seems like that shouldn't make sense, but really it does! Also, my…

Good luck with your appointment. I became diagnosed with hypothyroidism after having my first child. I initially lost a good amount of baby weight & suddenly put it all back on and then some. I was also more tired that just the normal "new mommy" syndrome! They found that I had a goiter on my thyroid and it continues to be…

Incredibly frustrated that for the second week in a row I have not lost any weight, but I haven't gained either, just maintained! I have continued to exercise for 45-60mins each day and have been staying under my calories. :-( Oh well...here's to this week bringing some progress!!!
-
So I am completely late at recording my weight. I was traveling all weekend & did weigh myself at the hotel; however, I could not access the message board on my phone. I maintainted the same weight this week...I'm happy that at least I didn't gain!
